Where do you keep getting lost? Felons are prohibited by law from purchasing, bearing or being in possession of firearms. So, your statement is complete bullshit. But you knew that.

who has supported violent felons being armed? You constantly are telling fibs about what others believe because you are unable to actually attack what we believe. I have posted dozens of times-that it is the NRA that wants violent felons prosecuted federally when they are caught with firearms, while leftwing groups (ACLU and NAACP) opposed such actions.

Felons face 5-10 years in prison if they are caught with a firearm. That seems to be a sufficient measure to keep them from having guns. Background checks are worthless in keeping felons from getting firearms as the DUKE study concerning the brady bill proved.

Are felons required to have background checks in private sales ?
Maybe you’ve never had one. Do you even know what it is ?
Are felons required to have a background check in retail sakes ?

That's because it is worthless as a crime control device, and is designed to create a demand for registration or to criminalize harmless activities by gun owners. We know people like you, want to turn honest gun owners into felons and you support stupid laws that will do so

Why are you enamored with worthless requirements? How many felons obtain firearms from people who don't know the acquirer is a felon?

I seem to know a hellofa lot more then you. I know what a background check is. No where is federal law is a felon required to have a background check in private sales.
Are you saying that felons should not have to have a background check for retail sales from an FFL dealer too ? They are required because everyone is.....

So, you don’t think felons should be required to have any restrictions in any sales, even from an FFL dealer ?
I know you have mental telepathy and can identify a felon without checking, but most people don’t have your magic powers.

No one who really understands this issue believes that UBGs are going to do anything useful. How many felons are buying firearms in private sales-from people who don't know they are mopes? the purpose of UBGs are these

    1) to pretend politicians are DOING SOMETHING-ie pandering to low IQ voters

    2) to create a demand for registration-even the OBAMA DOJ admitted that without registration, UBGCs are worthless

    3) to turn honest gun owners into criminals if they sell a friend a gun, or in some cases, loan a friend a gun without bothering with the stupid background check

So you don’t think that if universal background checks won’t work, partial ones now that only do retail sales “felons” certainly couldn’t possibly work. After all, they can’t do a good job on private sales, why bother the check anyone.

That about sums the the gunaholic POV.

Only one problem. Everyone who believes that BGC don’t work, is FOS.

For the simple reason he is not being reported to a sufficient degree to warrant such.

While he is disruptive, he also represents a large portion of the Lestist/anti Constitutional clack that are further represented in the media and among those influencing law. The arguments he pushes are easy to dismantle and both provide stimuli to respond with arguments framed in logic and that are consistent with the Constitution’s principles and underlying ideology. His post streams themselves provide evidence to any casual observer of convoluted logic and obvious bias that serve as standalone counters to the propaganda and ideological product of those opposed to those principles for governance we currently follow in this Country. His posts are his own best counter arguments that do the opposite of what is intended. Isn’t free speech great? Gives people rope to climb or...

“In contemporary modern English "-holic" is a suffix that can be added to a subject to denote an addiction to it.”

    It fits.

Keep going; your dedication to illustrating the absurdity of GCAs’ doctrine and mantras certainly does well to erode their credibility to even the il informed. Your posts are like the tabloids everyone glosses over in Supermarket lines....and taken just as seriously.

Felons are not legally allowed to participate in a private sale, either as the seller, or the buyer.
