Some people who claim to have been in the military, apparently are willing to crap on the oath they took over their pique that Hillary didn't win.

    It's really quite simple:
The left knows their schemes to force their socialist utopia upon the people end with "if you try that, we'll shoot you".
Thus, they seek to remove our capacity to do so.

Article I of the Constitution grants the federal government substantial authority over privately owned guns. If the federal government made it mandatory to attend a certain church many people would think that was a violation of the freedom of religion. But the government can make it mandatory for you to own a certain type of firearm. It can also order you to use your personally gun against an invading foreign military thus possibly putting your own life at risk. Does this show us that the the RKBA is different from the more personal rights protected by the Bill of Rights? It seems the Founding Fathers were comfortable with the federal government exercising substantial control over this right- a kind of control that would be unacceptable in the case of other rights. Would it be constitutional for the federal government to require every American adult to pass a background check in order to determine each person's fitness for militia service? I think so. The federal government can do what is necessary to create and maintain an effective militia capable of defending state security. A true patriot would agree.

    No.
None of those things have anything to do with the exercise of the right to keep and bear arms

Then explain how firearm-related restrictions serve to protect public servants from their misuse by individuals who should not have them, and legally cannot possess them.

Except for the simple fact that such is not the case. Absolutely none of the above statement is factually correct, and demonstrates a complete absence of understanding of what the united states constitution does and does not do.

    Only ex NRA members.
Where in any oath does it say anything about you preserving the rights of felons to gain access to firearms.

So, you were never a public servant.
No. Totally delusional question, borderline trolling.

What you just said is factually incorrect. And that’s not a simple fact.,

Then it is not actually possible of yourself to explain how firearm-related restrictions are supposed to protect public servants, or how they are going about achieving such.

That’s absolutely hilarious and counter to what any lawyer would argue.
Certainly not going to follow anyone’s say so including yours without legitimate evidence. We have a president who an idiot because he expects to be believed, just because he’s the president.
Your say so also means nothing if it isn’t referenced by a legitimate institutional source.

No, gun crazed promoters of felons having access to firearms inspires 90% of stronger gun regulation. You always call regulation, banning don’t you ? You’re suppose to be a lawyer and you can’t even tell the difference. Amazing. That’s two strikes.....going for three ?

Don’t flatter yourself or Trump. The entire gop is a cesspool of corruption, always has been. That’s what inspires anti gop sentiment. Even Mitch and his corrupt wife, one of Trumps Cabinet lackeys is not immune.

Felons are prohibited by law from purchasing, bearing or being in possession of firearms. So, your statement is complete bullshit. But you knew that.

“They refuse to support requiring felons to have background checks for all their gun buying activities.”

You’re excused just once for not being able to read a post in English. Where in your statement do you refute my claim that felons ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE BACKGROUND CHECKS for private sales.
Tell me the federal law that requires felons to have background checks for all gun sakes....FOS

Maybe you don’t know what a background check is ?
Are felons required to have background checks in private sales ? Do you know the words, “yes or no” ? Or, is answering a question beyond comprehension. The question is about background checks. I said nothing about existing federal laws.
