Depends on the person and their wants/needs..If 174k isnt enough fer her to push her agenda well she can sell T-shirts on the side, like anyone else.
Hmh. "Highly educated people" (or "bigly smart" if ImNotOliver or Donald Trump is having someone read this to them) should have been taught at some point along their monumental academic journey how to construct a sound argument. They should have been taught to avoid logical fallacies -- and particularly the unseemly ad hominem -- which is usually a personal attack, but doesn't have to be to still be a fallacy. Unless your adversary is the topic, then any reference to that person's character, attributes, qualifications, background, and yes, education is a fallacy -- and ironically actually betrays their lack or education. Such reference does not rationally relate to the topic, nor does it constitute evidence to substantiate a position or validate a thesis. It is most often deployed when the user actually has no argument to make and thus is nothing but a thinly-veiled attempt to discredit the adversary and by osmosis their argument. The intellectually vapid may fall for this (ie: "Trump is a white supremacist... you voted for Trump... you are a white supremacist), but anyone with a basic education should be able to pick apart the meaningful bits of an argument and separate them from the childish twaddle that so often passes for "discussion," particularly on teh internetz where you don't have to look the person in the eye. I am happy to debate the topic here. Which is? Bow To The Robots? Nooooo. Liberals vs. conservatives? Nooooo. Soup Nazi? Noooo. Socioeconomic demographics? Noooo. Hint: The topic is located at the top of the page, also known as "thread title." I'll remind you again, I am not the topic of this thread. AT THE RISK OF REPEATING MYSELF, try to avoid logical fallacies.
LOL LOL LOL ... bless your heart Dearest, there is no such thing as a democracy which is also socialist. They're diametrically opposed states. The Nordic countries are all FLAMING CAPITALISTS.
It's entirely true. All those nations are capitalist. There isn't an iota of socialism in any of them.
You don't have the first clue what socialism (aka, collectivism) is, do you? Social programs are NOT socialism. They're luxuries of capitalism. Socialism would never tolerate 'social programs'.
The military is the only structure in ANY Western Democracy which could be called even slightly socialist.
Actually the military is an okay example of Western socialism. Remember that the fundamental premise of all forms of collectivism is 'work to eat'. In order for that to be effective, personal autonomy must be sacrificed.
police, fire department, ems, road repair/maintenance, in pretty much every state is a govt.-run entity. that's socialism.
