Can anyone help splain this scripture in the quran? Surah 5.59-60 "Say, O people of the Book! Do you disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah and the revelation that has come to us and that which came before us and perhaps that that most of you are rebelious and disobdient? Ask them; should I tell you of those who will have even worse than this in retribution from Allah? They are those whom allah has cursed; who have incurred his wrath; some of whom were turned into APES AND PIGS, who worshipped the Taghut; these are worse in rank and for more astray from the Right Way."
It's like Jesus saying that Gentiles are dogs. And don't forget the demons who were sent into the pigs.
This story has a lot of holes, i doubt pigs are able to run a marathon Jews believe that non Jews taste like asses by the way.

It looks to me as though they considered apes and pigs to be cursed human beings. Given our similarities to both types of animals, this is entirely understandable for a group of ancient savages.
The best splaination is that the Qur'an is not from a fair and loving god, but rather from a hateful, warlord, pedophile, hater (did I mention "hate" already - sorry), barbaric, savage, slave-owning, Christian/Jew-hating, music-hating, hate-monger (there I go again.)
And this fails to apply to Yahweh how? Just change the Christian/Jew-hating bit to generally xenophobic, et voila.

It'll be hilarious to have the Queen of England and the Pope as zombie creatures in a movie. They could tell the other zombies what to do.
If Zombies could catch rabbits ... well the humans would not fare so well in movies and TV such as the walking dead !
