I thought I already answered this question. It is stuff that is given or sold to you.

    Right.

I don't see any other service (other than roads) that needs to be provided by the government through taxes.

Means squat. You can't prove any of it.
Who/what do you prove it to? Who the hell would believe you?

To what do you show it to? Who pays for those who would even look at what you claim a sale is made or cares if you have a receipt?

LOL. Roads is the only thing taxes should pay for. Get real. But now you agree taxes are needed for at least one thing.

You explain your job and the state services you use to us first please.
You have been unable to explain if you are employed or ever have been.
Or if you are employed by the taxpayer.

My life and business is none of yours.
If you request for something it is customary to have offered something of your own in exchange first.

Obviously the finer points of my tax details are not up for discussion online or anywhere else.
Generalities I am happy to discuss with you.

Road Tax. I use state provided roads. I overpay for them, but I do actually use them.
    So it could be worse.

Another who failed reading comprehension at school.

What you project is what you get back.
People are rude to you because you are rude and obnoxious to them.

Arrogance is no substitute for knowledge. Reality cannot be ignored for long.
He doesn't agree with taxes, you telling him he does, just means you are mentally unable to deal with that reality. In denial. Retreating back inside your comfortable shell.

Why do you need anything proven to you?
All you need to know is which property has been given or sold to you.
Who owns things that you do not, is after all, none of your business.

I don't need to prove to you I own my stuff. I just need to be able to defend it from you.

Correction, it’s supposed to be a Constitutional Republic but unfortunately it’s a corporatocracy.

Come on! Don't you remember when the corporations forbid everyone from voting for their congressmen?

    Devils advocate in me says.

    Halliburton.
    Morgan Stanley
    Goldman Sachs.
    Trump.

I think it is true to say that big companies use campaign bribes which usurp the representative you vote for into serving them before you.

However I do not necessarily disapprove of this.

Every american has the opportunity to vote out people who do not fullfill their campaign promises at election time. Thats always going to be the case.

What for? Corporations, both domestic and international have more influence over our pretend government than any other entity. Whether it be campaign contributions or lobbies or other forms of influence including revolving doors. From Wall Street to banking to big oil to big pharma to war profiteers, etc. What does it matter the list or the order? What is your point or do you not have any clue?

Why? What would my answer change anything I posted? The point is that the US government is not the republic guarantee by the Constitution in Article IV Section 4. That's what really matters not what I think is the pecking order of corporations that control the most puppet strings. I don't know about you but that's what matters to me, not what an anonymous poster may or may not think is the order. Many have critical influences. For example:

The Federal Reserve controls money and uses the IRS as its Gestapo like enforcement arm.
The banks and Wall Street control a good deal of the financial aspect.
    Big Oil controls energy.
Big Pharma controls health and the FDA.
The war profiteers control the mentality of endless war and genocide for profit.
    Etc. etc.

sorry at 2nd dodge Im done. Im not interested in people who state corporations run our nation but then refuse to name one that does. It reminds me of when a boxer gets knocked out and wakes up swinging, thinking the fight is still going on.

Ask me if I care. Don't let the door hit you ...

I did name one, not that it matters in terms of the point I made. I can't help you if you have no clue what a corporation is. And if you don't even know that much what is the point of this discussion? Right, none, certainly not for me. Furthermore you haven't answered one single thing I asked you so go discuss the pecking order with someone who cares more about that triviality than the subject matter.

    Non sequitur.
