It is what people have been told by their doctors. Increased risk of cancer and increased risk of blood clots.

 

As Grannie said, it is high dose pills, not low dose ones that have the risk.

 

Some women have very low doses too since they are very sensitive to hormonal changes in their bodies, like me. (We get extremely nauseous for example).
