According to AWR Hawkins of Breitbart News, the bill is titled the “2nd Amendment Firearm Freedom Act.” The bill was first passed in the Arizona House on February 24, 2021.

The bill’s text outlines the following:

Pursuant to the sovereign authority of this state and article II, section 3, Constitution of Arizona, This state and all political subdivisions of this state are prohibited from using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with any act, law, treaty, order, rule or regulation of the United States government that is inconsistent with any law of this state regarding the regulation of firearms.

According to the Associated Press,HB2111 would “[prohibit] police and sheriffs from enforcing federal gun laws that violate the 2nd Amendment.”

Arizona is taking a great step. So are all the other counties and states passing such laws. These have been referred to as 2A sanctuaries. The more that get passed the better. We need to show congress and the president the depth of our resistance to gun grabbing efforts.

It’s great to see a robust defense of the 2A now.

Do you also feel the Government is trying to grab your vehicle from you when you have to register it?

West VA is trying to pass a similar bill. One passed the WV House and is being derailed as we speak in the WV Senate by a Republican Committee Chair.

Never take a Republican vote on the 2nd Amendment for granted at the State or Federal level. When the Republicans had control of the White House and Congress they let concealed carry reciprocity and the hearing protection act die in committee.

The Constitution protects a right to own a gun. It does not protect the right to own a car. So why the false analogy fallacy?

Who is saying you don't have the right to own a firearm? I have numerous guns, yet nobody is trying to take them away from me. How does registering my handguns allow the Govt to take them away?

RINOs teeter on the fence of using the 2A to get elected but wanting to solidify the power of their organization with a monopoly on force. They are not to be trusted beyond preserving their own re-election.

Registration tells them what you have and where you have it. With that information that can take whatever they want by force. As to what Biden we will see when his EOs come out.

It's a bad sign at the state of our constitution that this law even needs to be written. All federal laws regulating arms are unconstitutional.

I do feel that the Mexicans are trying to grab my vehicle from me. Mainly because they have done so. Little good the registration did then. Cops just said, "Good luck, it's already in Juarez."

Registering your Guns will just give the Government the power to let them know what you have, how many and how much they want to Tax and charge you in registration fees for the Guns you have, plus it easier for Liberals to disarm Americans for their Communist Utopia. I don't trust Democrats with anything, especially if it's something they think they can drain Money out of your Pockets. Up here in Washington State, we voted for and successfully passed $30 Car Tabs, because they've been illegally calculating used car Tab fees based on MSRP, so they can get more money, but they reversed the election claiming us vehicle owning tax payers didn't understand what we were voting for, Hell they even wanted to figure out a way to charge people who saved Rain water from their homes roofs that they drained into Barrels to water their plants. Democrats LOVE! taking peoples hard earned money and giving it to others.

I don’t have a defined constitutional right to operate a car on city, county, state, federal roads. I do have one to keep and bear arms.

What would be the point of registration? I regularly drive vehicles registered to other people and as such, guns can and will be used by those they are not registered too. Furthermore, cars only have to be registered if they are used on public roadways and if they are, it is very easy to tell whether they are properly registered or not which is not the case with firearms. Lastly, and most important in my opinion, driving is a privilege, owning firearms is a right enshrined in the constitution and upheld by multiple rulings by the supreme court.
