So the orange pate palooka in the White House regurgitates the insanity put forth by NRA cretin LaPierre and other gun maker flunkies to arm teachers as a deterrent to mass shooters on school grounds.

Are they to get special training in how to handle emergency situations? Are they to be given intense background scrutiny (psych evaluations)? Who's going to pay for this, because teachers across the land are hard pressed just to keep stationary and other necessities for their classroom. Now suddenly there's money for a gun?

My Latin teacher used to throw chalk and books and other stuff at us when we couldn't answer her questions.

You act like teachers have never been armed before and that many do not already carry weapons.

Children are way more likely to be killed in a car wreck on the way to school then from a school shooter. But if people think it is such a huge deal that our children have another layer of security around them then I can agree to it. Though I would ask the districts to require training and licensing first. Or perhaps better trained and armed resource officers. My high school had armed police in the school at all times. Two officers were stationed there. So to me the idea of having guns in the school is not bothersome at all.,

Besides teachers, I think we should also let everyone carry guns at a Trump rally. You know, to make things safer for our President.

probably the same thing that happens when anyone commits murder. if they don't take the cowards way out and off themselves, they're arrested, charged, prosecuted, convicted and either put in prison or put to death.
