I highly doubt he'll be able to change such an old law, but nevertheless, seeing him in the debates would be funny as hell. I'm sure he'd come up with some new gaffes to get everyone talking.

 

He must need to make some money. Need some publicity. Just what we need another RINO who's had affairs and a love child. It will never happen.

Oh, my goodness, no, not him! But I guess Arnold is all the GOP has left after Chris Christie fell out of favor.

However, I would enjoy watching the Republican crowd, the same ones who have been harping about being Constitutional purists and pro-Birther conspiracy theorists for years now justify altering the US Constitution so that Arnold Schwarzenegger can legally run for President of the USA.

The Arnold was NOT that good of a Governor of California. He was congenial but, not effectual.
Jerry Brown has balanced the budget to a surplus and no one is yelling about the cuts in service.

Although Republicans are "forgiven" their indiscretions with immediate Christian redemption, his indiscretions were against his wife, from a First Family of the Democratic Party. That might give it a little more memory as opposed to Gingrich's back seat blow jobs and forgivenesses(es & es).

The guy who implemented MORE deficit spending in California than any other governator. His "solution" to deficits was to go to Wall Street and borrow 40 billion dollars there.

The guy who classed nurses as "special interests" while standing shoulder to shoulder to shoulder with $100 million per year hospital and insurance executives and Nevada casino operators.

The last time that a country other than Austria allowed an Austrian to become head of state it ended disasterously. Bad precedent for the effort it would take to change the constitution.

I don’t really know much about Arnie as a politician, but I think he’s right to propose a change to the US Constitution. I can’t see why a country, that was founded by immigrants, should disallow one of its citizens a presidential opportunity simply because of where they were born.

But, you could pile all their wackos on one side of a huge loony-scale and a single Nancy Pelosi on the other and Democrats would still retain their Kook crown. All you peeps need is kook emeritus Michael Moore to run for office and the title would be yours forever.

Aside from the fact that Arnold is damaged goods and a cheat, let me ask you this.
Can a naturalized citizen be as patriotic, if not more so, than a native born person? Isn't taking on the citizenship, pledging allegiance to the U.S. of A an earnest commitment? Simply being born here doesn't make one a great and patriotic person. Just throwing that out there, realizing that changing the Constitution to accommodate naturalized citizens may open quite the can of worms.

The Terminator would have to change the United States Constitution, force an amendment that has to be ratified by, as I recall, 2/3 of the states.

It would take at least five years to get it through congress, an another five to get it accepted by 40 some odd states and by then the Terminator is too old.

He knows that. Everyone should know that.

He's filed the papers because his latest movie is tanking at the box office and the poor little ego maniac needs some publicity.
