    No, there was reason to investigate the Trump campaign. The Republican majorities in the House and Senate chose Republican Robert Mueller who investigated and exonerated Trump. If Trump had shut his yap and gone along with the probe, there would have been very little news about it. Instead, he obsessed, blocked Mueller, and ended up with Mueller adding a section of his report on obstruction.

    Even the Republican House and Senate majorities thought so. I'm sure they thought Trump would shut up, say he's innocent when asked and that he looked forward to Mueller's report. Trump could have moved on to other issues, but dumbed it.
