    I do see a pattern most people flying into the US or Canada fly into these cities, not cities in the middle of the continent.

    Every business should serve their customers. Whining about the BBC's choices of weather reports is as silly as whining that MTV doesn't show enough commercials for retired Americans like Cialis, baldness cures and hemorrhoid cream.

    If you don't like the weather coverage, choose another channel or check the internet. The media will do what it thinks is in its best interest. Ignore it. It isn't worth the fuss. As far as I'm concerned, living in "fly over" country is a positive. I'd rather not have those people on the ground around me. I'm happy to wave as they pass at 30,000 feet.

    Disagreed. Either their demographics department is spot on or it's incompetent. I'm inclined to believe the former....which is why MTV doesn't have boner pill commercials; their demographics department says the vast majority of their viewers don't need them.

    On this subject, if you are ever bored or interested, try channel surfing the news channels at prime time and see if you can guess the network's key demographics based on their commercials.
