I will tell you whether or not you will be ok. Are you down on Wall Street right now, or are you working your first job?

Before you lay down the judgement, have you been part of or currently part of the US military?

Yes well if protecting my children, being there for them, taking care of them and loving them is slavery then bring it on.

My children by the way do not think they are slaves, my daughter (now a mother herself) says it's the parents who are slaves.

Well she lost her own mother when she was 9, had to put up with my being her "mother" for the rest of her life, so yeah, situation normal does not mean "Normal" in our house. She keeps saying "Now I know what you mean Dad lol", so I think she is learning. She is doing OK considering she has had me for a Dad lol but we try, that's what it's about, families sticking together, trying....

It's called indoctrination...people say it's not happenening? Well it is. Where is this liberal progressive marxist crap learned, if not in the family, than where? Our high schools and colleges need to be CLEARED OUT! It's getting scary. Look down on wall street for example. Can you imagine if you lived down there? There was one lady who said a couple was having sex on a matresses right outside her window, another said the smell of reefer in the air will get you high, someone else said it smells worse than a public restroom on a hot summer day, another one said the "kids" were playing drums outside till 3am even though many people asked them to stop. And, the police do NOTHING? Why do you think that is? Orders from above ya think? These people could care less about the civil liberties of the rent/morgage paying people surrounding them, the people who can't sleep and have to work the next day, the children who have to go to school the next day WHAT ABOUT THEM?...they are a selfish and ignorant bunch of punks. And, I know my kids would NEVER be there, no matter what their politics are...they respect other people, and their rights.

I noticed the OP didn't answer whether he was blogging from wall st or not?

    And for that, there's emancipation.

But the default legal status should be to protect children from unscrupulous actors. Parents are not enough. Forget about a 5-year-old. A 14-year-old is out of range of their parents' control enough to sign contracts encumbering all sorts of things without parental protection, that's why these laws exist.

Um, because they have a First Amendment right to peaceably assemble there.
They're not keeping anyone up at night. Have you ever been to Wall St.?

First, I would hardly call blocking a bridge, smoking pot, blasting music, having sex on the street, pissing and (*)(*)(*)(*)ting out in public...PEACEFUL! In who's world? Maybe yours, but certainly not mine. And what do you have to say about the rights of the people who live, or work there? Nothing, right? When does the liberties of one group outway the liberties of another? When the government is on the side of one and not the other...that's when!

Right. You are a statist/authoritarian, and you believe that certain activities should be punished merely for being distasteful to other people.

I'm a libertarian, and I believe that people have a right to do as they please until it directly harms someone else.
Um, yeah, how do I say this nicely... You obviously know nothing about NYC or this neighborhood of lower Manhattan in particular. They're not seriously bothering anyone trying to "live" or "work" there.

You can't say anything nicely...and, you are not a libertarian.

You saying that these people aren't bothering anyone is just ridiculous.

LOL... Really? Ask the last fool that went down this road of claiming I'm not a libertarian.
Have you ever been to NYC? Lower Manhattan? Simple yes or no will suffice.

The last "fool"....so someone else did? Maybe it's time you understood that a liberatarian would be for the liberties of all people, not just the ones they choose to benefit themselves.

And yes I have, why? What on earth does this have to do with anything? Are you willing to admit that you are wrong that these people are not bothering other people or not?

Paranoid schizophrenics are going to find a reason to be bothered no matter what happens.
