Biden’s Phlegmatic, Divisive Speech Burns Bridges to Trump’s America

At the end of his petulant address, Biden called on Americans to “unite and heal.” But evidently he expects unity and healing to flow in one direction.

Biden is, and always has been, one of the most divisive politicians in America. He is personally to blame for the fact that Supreme Court confirmations are fights to the death, for example.

Biden doesn’t have it in him to unite the nation, nor can he restrain the radicals in his party who want vengeance. He didn’t build bridges tonight; he burned them.

I watched Biden’s hate speech. There was nothing reassuring or unifying in that speech. It was like he was coughing up vitriol and anger. The few words at the end made it seem like his idea of unity was our sides unconditional surrender to his wishes.

 

Trumps America will will not soon forget the tenor and tone of that speech directed at us this evening. Long live the resistance!

 

Gotta love the POUTRAGE coming from the supporters of the biggest LOSER*-in-Chief!

Seems like they must have gotten "tired of winning" that NEVER happened.

 

The poutrage is what is coming out of Biden and the poor winners who follow him. The are about an attempt at retribution and revenge, not unity and healing.

 

How about quoting those parts that will full of retribution and revenge in context.

 

Another poutrageous response LACKING anything remotely credible.

Where was the hate?

This is what I heard:

"Today, our nation passed a grim milestone, 300,000 deaths to this COVID virus. My heart goes out to each of you in this dark winter of the pandemic, about to spend the holidays and the new year with a black hole in your hearts, without the ones you loved at your side. My heart goes out to all of you who have fallen on hard times through no fault of your own, unable to sleep at night, staring at the ceiling, weighed down by the worry of what tomorrow will bring for you and equally important for your family."

For the first time in the pandemic we will actually have a president who shows compassion and empathy with the millions of people who have lost loved ones, instead of a man child in the oval office who only has empathy for himself, and has been unable or unwilling to publicly express even the slightest concern for the victims of the pandemic.

 

He read a speech written for him by someone else and that runs tingles up your legs? He said empathetic words written on paper, that changes absolutely nothing, but at least your feelz better.

 

Biden lost a son, a wife and an infant daughter. I think he knows a thing or two about the black hole it leaves in the heart losing loved ones, and in particular children. I have no problem believing that what Biden said was real and heartfelt.

Now, show me where Trump ever expressed empathy with the covid victims.

Why is it legitimate when Trump gives a speech (also pre-written by someone else) but it's empty words when Biden speaks? The double standards are ridiculously transparent.

 

EXACTLY!!! Another object lesson that merely mouthing the correct, soooothing words off a teleprompter is ALL it takes to snooker a significant portion of the population.

 

LOL! Say the ones who are snookered by "stop the steal". Priceless..

 

So you just want a president to say sweeet words to you?

Trump's a business man and has always been. He's there for action, not to stroke your back while he tells you how special you are. There is no double standard.

 

I'm fairly certain every single one of us have lost loved ones during our lifetime so I'm not sure what your point is. I didn't realize all you lefties were requiring was someone to give you a big hug and kiss your boo boos and make it all better.

What compassion was in that comment? "My heart goes out"? The litany of woe was pretty dark. The imagery was all about suffering and death, the "black hole" that cannot be overcome by joy. What BS message is that supposed to inspire? Loved the "through no fault of your own" after his team called his opposition "super spreader events" ..... This guys has absolutely no compassion for the people. Never has. He's just the guy who always circles back to gloom and doom because he knows fear sells....

 

Didn't listen to the sentences that followed right after, did you?

Now, Biden wasn't my favorite candidate in the primaries. With all the faults that he has, this speech was very good, and I do not doubt that he is a good man.

 

Wow. Finally we have an empathetic president. Everything will be better now. I can see all that empathy just melting the Covid away right in front of our eyes. Amazing......

 

With democrats hanging their party on identity politics it will be fun to watch the Democratic Party crumble from infighting. It is already suffering with his having to withdraw his pick for the EPA, a rabid environmentalist for the last 30 years, because she isn’t woke enough about racial politics, a totally bogus claim.

 

If only doctors would practice this very act, less people would be sick and die. Stop wasting time with action and just tell the patients how sorry you are for them and how much you care.

 

The only "salute" Bi-Dumb will ever get from me, and I hope every other REAL American is the one fingered variety.

 

I see we are back to the "real'' American pathetic nonsense.

Reagan would have voted for Biden before he would have voted for Trump.
