Biden Food Shortages: Walgreens Starts Rationing Baby Formula

It's always the party in opposition that wants the FED to raise interest rates. Why? Because they know a bad economy will help them win elections. In contrast, the party in power wants the FED to lower interest rates, like Trump did for several years, lambasting Powell publicly, accusing him to ruin his magical economy because the interest rates were supposedly too high. Now, Biden has been silent on FED interest rate policy, a breath of fresh air.

 

Oh wow .. you have it so wrong. Terminology aside, when people refuse to plan ahead, their only option at the 11th hour is panic.

It's those who accept that things won't always go perfectly, who plan ahead and thus AVOID panic.

 

LOL .... more people are planning ahead now, than ever before. The idea that people are becoming 'reluctant' is a curiosity, but it's absolutely not the reality. I suspect you're talking about people who realise it's too late for them, and are LARPing contempt to soothe themselves.

The photo on the right is the bare shelves in a Target store. The photo on the Left is from a Border Patrol agent showing plentiful stocks of baby formula at Ursula Central Processing Center in McAllen, Texas.

The agent who sent the picture was enraged, reports the Washington Examiner:

“‘You would not believe the shipment I just brought in.’ He has been a border patrol agent for 30 years and he has never seen anything quite like this. He is a grandfather and he is saying that his own children can’t get baby formula.”

They have plenty of baby formula.​

 

Gee whiz .. if only there was some free, all natural, on tap, superhealthy, hygeinic and always ready at the right temperature food for babies.

As much as this shortage is worrying for babies with medical problems preventing consumption of breastmilk, this situation is 100% caused by women choosing to fake feed their kids. The old excuse "I couldn't produce enough milk" is utter BS. The body produces whatever is needed, and the only thing that can interfere with that is not feeding frequently or for long enough.

Women do it on purpose (often subconsciously) so they won't be left 'holding the baby'.

PS: Genuine medical inability to produce breastmilk is actually very rare. Super rare, actually .. and can only be diagnosed via special testing. Anything else is the self inflicted kind.

 

When all else fails, spam the thread with non sequitur comments, eh what?

 

So Biden's handing out free formula to illegals has nothing to do with any shortages?

Complete gov't incompetence

The day of the recall/plant close - an action plan needed to be developed to make sure that there were not supply issues
Not the usual reaction after it is an issue months later

 

Sure if you think govt is better at solving issues than the free market…

 

They have a responsibility since a gov't agency started the issue

 

The govt agency wasn’t who made people sick

 

I am not disputing their need to force the recall or the shutdown

Once that occurred the government should have realized that this could cause supply issues and been proactive

I am in management. When we have to term an employee for cause - we immediately identify and discuss covering the duties to minimize any ops impact. We don't wait 2 months and see what happen. It is the same concept and it is incompetence

 

Yah and you don’t rely on the govt to find you a new worker either do you?

 

Government has responsibility to manage the supply chain and not assume the market will fix it

My niece is frantic to BUY baby formula while Biden passes out FREE baby formula to children of people who crossed the border illegally (at taxpayer expense). Every step of the way, he is letting the American people know that he HATES them. The health of her baby boy is now at risk...... and she foolishly voted for the POS. His policies may kill her son but they also got her to hate the Democratic Party. Funny how real life does that to people after college isn't it?

You refer to the "free market" as if the government has not been shutting down businesses during the two years of Covid or as if the government has not been, nor still is, paying people not to work. Are you aware that many businesses were shut down for good by the government. That is not what happens in a free market economy.

 

Or they drop their kids at a fire station for some free formula.
