    Whoa!!! No way! That's Amazing. I can't believe it. What do you guys think? “Undocumented” sounds more like a legal immigrant that lost their immigration papers. How does an illegal alien pay taxes?

    Illegal alien is the correct term.

    Illegals use a taxpayer ID to pay taxes.

    The Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is a tax-processing number issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to ensure that people—including undocumented immigrants—pay taxes even if they do not have a Social Security number and regardless of their immigration status.

    Cite something that demonstrates that as a function of the law that what you've just written is supportable.

    From the IRS:
    ITIN. An ITIN, or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, is a tax processing number only available for certain nonresident and resident aliens, their spouses, and dependents who cannot get a Social Security Number (SSN). It is a 9-digit number, beginning with the number "9", formatted like an SSN (NNN-NN-NNNN).

    Whoosie... Meaning that you have to have a work visa. now, tell us again about illegal/undocumented folks... laughable.

    Oh, good. universal healthcare for ALL, including illegal aliens. I support that. If they are working in our neighborhoods the least we can do is make sure they are taken care of.

    The more common way is to use a fake SS#, usually it will belong to someone else, they pay into SS and MCare, but declare so many dependents that no Federal WH is taken. Meanwhile, the person whose SS number they've been using, has a stolen identity mess to clean up, including possible tax liabilities for the income earned and received by the illegal.

    I would guess that a good portion of the illegal aliens are paid under the table in cash - meaning no taxes are taken out of that pay. Of course, this doesn't hold true for large companies, but smaller companies do this all the time - example - lawn services.

    The underground economy is huge and untaxed - for example, taco trucks - 100% cash business, and very little of that is recorded, just enough to seem legit. Another example would be illegal drug dealers.

    How do they get jobs to pay taxes? Fake ID..They also get hired by one white guy that has a legal business and works them at a low wage and is able to get muchas work because he bids it for less..Now since the illegals are covered by the Constitution they are claiming they have a right to the benefits in the nation..
