    I thought we were a representative republic. We the people. The government should look like the people it represents. That's what this is about; representation.

    Should we be represented by race and gender? I thought we fought the Civil Rights and Votings Rights acts to eliminate that. Where does the Constitution say that government officials must be apportioned according to the racial make up of the country or the gender make up of the country. How about the age make up?
