Curious why you call it "the Bush crash". Even SNL acknowledged that Bush had warned Congress for tighter controls over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to fix the problem. If any one person should be called out, it should be Clinton for repealing the Glass-Steagall Act.

Not sure why one would think that that because Bush parroted a popular trope in front of congress -- he would not be responsible for anything that happened under his watch ? Kind of like saying "Hitler helped the poor" .. why would you accuse him of being a bad fellow..

Freddy and Fanny were just a small part of the crash .. one cog in a massive wheel .. as was Glass-Steagall which was a move initiated by Red .. but it matters not.

If one does not have much understanding of what caused crash - . hard to assess blame

Who cares that Bush was not President when the Dem Congress and President Obama passed their huge spending that sent the deficit to $1,400B? Those who deal in reality. I already showed you WITH that defense spending Bush43 and the Reps had the defecit down to a measly $161B heading to surplus again. You in desperation to defend the Dems falsely attributed the deficits after that to Bush. That is demonstrably false as I showed you and you now want to ignore. The Dems whined they could not spend as much as they wanted in 2008 BECAUSE of him and the bragged how they were able to cut him out completely for 2009. So stop with the fallacious assertions.

Holy no understanding of the subject matter .. despite being schooled numerous times .. so no ability to learn either.

One (1) Trillion of the deficit had nothing to do with "huge spending" by anyone for "Those who deal in reality" - which clearly doesn't include you.

This is basic stuff that you are failing to grasp .. talking nonsense for the sake of talking .. in some desperate desire to tar Dems for all spending over the last 40 years and pretend this is reality.

They live way way way in the past because the election is coming, and schoolboard moms have been giving all the issues a lot of thought, AND THEY ARE READY TO VOTE!

What a load of crap. Our rate is less than half the worst countries. Further, because of the way we reimbursed, everyone that died WITH COVID is counted rather than just those that died OF COVID.

    And you are off topic.

Biden sucks and voters know it.

It’s Not Just Hispanics. The Democrats Are Losing the Black Vote.

“According to Pew Research Center, fully 25 percent of Black Democrats identify as ‘conservative’ (around 40 percent identify as ‘moderate’). And with these voters, like their Hispanic counterparts, there was also a massive shift between 2016 and 2020.”

When they started name-calling denigrating and insulting their white rural and working class voter base, they figured they would offset those loses with super majorities of voters of color, and the doubled down with the insults, the slander and the deliberate alienation of this hated part of their base, much to the shock of these folks who had been Democrats for generations, but, this was the basis of the "Emerging Majority" theory than Democrats loved to tell each, that as "America became less and less white, it would become more and more firmly attached to the Democrat Party."

But one little wee problem for the Insultacrats, America doesn't divide by race as much as we divide by class. And working and middle class voters of all races and creeds are looking at the Left and saying "Holy smokes, have they gotten lost in the shrum field?"

And here they come to the Freedom, Liberty, and Common Sense GOP:
    • "between the 2018 to 2020 elections, Hispanic voters without a college degree swung to the GOP by a whopping 30 points."
    • "Texas border counties, where local communities are experiencing the crisis at the border first hand. The county with the highest percentage of Hispanic voters once backed Hillary Clinton by 60 points; but they only backed then-candidate Joe Biden by five."
And now the Black vote is coming home the party that freed them from Democrat slaveholders.
    • "fully 25 percent of Black Democrats identify as "conservative" (around 40 percent identify as "moderate"). And with these voters, like their Hispanic counterparts, there was also a massive shift between 2016 and 2020."
That's because sometimes some Dems seem moldy.

Dems’ Disdain for Rural Americans Is Their Real Midterms Problem.

“Rural voters who are worrying about financial issues probably aren’t as concerned with abortion on demand and propping up teachers who talk to first-graders about gender reassignment as coastal Dems are.”

"Democrats’ message to rural voters over the past decade or so has been clear: “You don’t matter.”"

"The Democrats have spent the last twenty years becoming a regional party. Because that region includes some populous states, they’re under the mistaken impression that they represent what America really wants. In reality, if you dropped most of them anywhere in small-town America they’d think that they had been abducted by aliens and deposited on a foreign planet."

They do see our rural youth on American Idol and similar shows. Other than that, not a lot of contact.
