Can't find the whole speech, but here's an article about it from the hated fake news WAPO (before anybody bought that bullshit)_

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/arch...e-begin/e82b2bfb-6efb-4eb8-b7c1-0997c15c2bfa/

    SNIP
In an eloquent passage that was not included in his prepared text, Carter said:

"As the first man from the Deep South in 140 years to be president of this nation, I say these people in white sheets do not understand our region and what it's been through. They do not understand what our country stands for. They do not understand that the South and all of America must move forward. Our past is a rich source of inspiration. We've had lessons that we've learned with a great deal of pain. But the past is not a place to live. We must go forward in the South and we will."
    ENDSNIP

    Bolding mine...

Amen, brother Jimmy.... A VERY under appreciated President, whose legacy is only now fully coming to light...

Funny, I don't remember it being called that when Adam Schiff did it (while stating it was the "essence" of what Trump said)

Sure, but if black conservatives are regarded as Uncle Toms or some other sort of race traitor by the majority of black voters, it doesn't matter.

Well the Democrats are the Identity politics party. Besides, policy is usually the last thing that floats to the top. Think of how many election cycles blue collar whites voted for Republicans who shipped their jobs overseas? It took a while, but eventually those voters got it and overthrew the traditional GOP. But the fact that it took many years, rather than one election cycle, shows how voting is more peer group than policy.

Most progressives supported Hitler until the alliance between Nazi Germany and the USSR ended in 1939. Ford was a radical progressive, Coughlin's support for FDR was a critical factor in his rise to the presidency.

"Karl Marx produced the indispensable theory, Lenin applied the theory with his sense of large scale social organization. And Henry Ford made the work of the socialist state possible. None of their contributions would have meant anything; however, without the political genius of Stalin." Diego Garcia [Marxist] from "Henry Ford, The Wayward Capitalist", Gelderman, p 315.

This inconvenient history of the progressive movement and its attachments to Nazism and Fascism has obviously been covered up by our schools and political leaders. That explains why so many of our under informed progressives keep waking up in the same bed with the Nazis and the Klan.

In fact, much of what has passed as a "progressive" movement conceals systemic racism, ethnic cleansing and genocide. Which is another reason why ordinary Americans are now leaving the DP.

"Revelations of sterilization abuse during that time expose the complicity of the federal government. At first the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, claimed that approximately 16,000 women and 8000 management sterilized in 1972 on The offices of federal programs. Later however these figures underwent a drastic revision Carl Schultz, Director of AGW's population affairs office, estimated that between 100,000 and 200,000 sterilization have actually been funded that year by the federal government. During Hitler's Germany, incidentally, 250,000 sterilizations were carried out are The Nazi hereditary health law. Is it possible that Record of the Nazis, throughout the years of their rain, may have been almost equaled by US government funded sterilizations in the space a single year?"

Trump's significant support for Jews, black Americans and Hispanic Americans is expanding his base far beyond the RP's membership.

"The polling numbers Trump was referring to were likely from a Reuters/Ipsos poll that asked respondents, “Do you approve or disapprove about the way Donald Trump is handling his job as President?” Filtered for black male respondents, the poll does show Trump’s approval increasing from about 11 to about 22 percent. For black people overall, the increase was from about 9 to about 17 percent."

Could have happened 10-15 years ago, if a 3rd party candidate with 1) household name recognition and 2) enough money to not care about or need big party donors had figured out that gate-crashing one of the two-parties, rather than running as an Independent, was the way for a non-partisan to win the White House.

People have been sick of the establishment for at least 20 years, but the two parties have ensured that there was no option for change from the increasing power of the ruling elite class. The two parties largely controlled the nominee pool they chose for us....then pretended that our votes had some meaning. Voters have been partisan-voting for several elections, holding their noses, not liking either nominee.

Trump crashing the GOP, and to a lesser extent, Bernie crashing the DNC is showing how dissatisfied voters have really been with both D & R.

Per capita, whites don't. Half of all murders are committed by 6% of the population... black males.

If you're referring to those on drug charges, then I'd say dudes peddling weed shouldn't be in jail to begin with.

13%. It says it right in the text.

Imagine if 40% of whites were on welfare.... the country would collapse.

I wouldn't have voted for Biden in the first place. Now if he was the only one running I still wouldn't vote for him

Both were a terrible optic, even if you think he was joking, which I dont. Biden is great at putting his foot in his mouth. Something is going to happen, they cant seriously run this guy.[/QUOTE]

Trump has somehow managed to damage the collective brain of our hive-like entrenched corrupt political establishment. "Marbles" matter.

"“Trump succeeded,” lamented one moderate former Democratic lawmaker who asked to speak on background. “He got my party to lose its marbles.” The lawmaker cited calls by party activists to abolish the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency — calls the Warren campaign did not formally endorse but did little to refute — as emblematic of the party’s broader problems.

“What do Democrats stand for?” he asked. “Lawlessness or liberality? Policymaking or virtue signaling? Gender-neutral pronouns and bathrooms or good jobs and higher wages?”

As is his way, Mr. Trump wasted little time rubbing salt into Democratic wounds. “Democrats used to stand with the Working Man,” he tweeted Wednesday morning. “Now it’s the party of Abortion and Amnesty. All that’s missing is Acid. Sad!”

Thanks for the link, and the south did move on, although it would be another 10 or 20 years later before those states were electing Republicans as Governors.

It's also rather strange that on stage with Carter during his "KKK speech" were Democrats....

-George Wallace (famous for his "segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever" quote)

-Senator James Eastland ( known as the symbol of Southern resistance to racial integration during the civil rights era, often speaking of blacks as "an inferior race.")

-Senator John Sparkman ( Known as a segregationist proponent during the Civil Rights era, Sparkman was a regular voter against civil rights legislation and condemned the "judicial usurpation" of the Supreme Court decision of Brown v. Board of Education, Sparkman signed the 1956 Southern Manifesto, which pledged opposition to racial integration and promised to use "all lawful means" to fight the ruling that put court power behind the integration of public institutions.)

-Albert Gore Sr ( who voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964)

The first truly progressive ideas came out of the American Revolution - the last truly progressive ideas came out of Marx, Engels and Lenin before the creation of the USSR.

The "progressive movement" was infected with virulent deadly race theory. It's institutions and guiding theories live on.

"The eugenics establishment merged into — or more precisely took over—the population control campaign. In the late 1940s, the Milbank Memorial Fund, one of the main backers of eugenics, began to support research about overpopulation in underdeveloped countries. In 1952 Frederick Osborn, a leading eugenist, organized the Population Council. Osbourne later set up the Population Association of America, and his cousin Fairfield Osbourne became a leader of Planned Parenthood—World Population. The Rockefeller Foundation, another key funder of eugenics research, joined Milbank in 1936 in giving Princeton University (Henry Fairfield Osborn's and John D. Rockefeller III's alma mater) an Office of Population Research (OPR). In the 1940s OPR became a center for eugenists demographer's. Kingsley Davis, Clyde Kiser, Frank Notestein, Dudley Kirk, and Frank Lorimer all work there. When the Rockefeller Foundation financed the Population Council, these five men moved there. (the foundation had also sent its man Charles Edward Amory Winslow into Planned Parenthood at its inception.) Out of the 10 men on the Population Council's demographic and medical advisory boards six have been associated with eugenics."
LINDA GORDON, The Moral Property of Women, A History of Birth Control Politics In America, University of Illinois Press, Urbana and Chicago, 2007. p. 281.

Thinking progressives like Gordon have been sounding the alarm for decades.

    1. Why would Carter have R's on the stage during the start of his campaign for president??

    2. Those are SOME of the perfect people to have on the stage during an anti-KKK speech... Those are some of the men he's talking to (and about)... As the article said - "familiar faces from an older South "

Just needed Strom Thurmond for the matched set of racists...
