The UK is sending out patrols to pick up there citizens but Biden can’t be bothered.

 

Brits, Germans, etc quietly leaving the perimeter, getting their folks and getting out.

The US is not.

Biden told Americans to shelter in place.

Then he told them get to the airport but you are on your own.

Westerners reporting even when they get to the airport, past Taliban checkpoints, the local afghans are storming the walls out of desperation and the Americans can't get in.

Biden just said he will stay as long as he needs to, which is his 2nd reneged deal with the taliban.

They will see this as a reason for war. They are consolidating their forces, the majority of Americans are around Kabul which means they know where a military response would be and they can take the airport anytime they want.

Our military will have to be transferred deep into enemy territory. They will be surrounded and the enemy has new forces and shiny new American weaponry.

US military won't be shooting or carpet bombing its own by shooting into the city.

And just like that, we will be at 9/11/2021. Where the force in power is the Taliban, after over 2 decades of fighting the US. Think they will be friendly?

Americans murdered, ransomed, sold into slavery.

Same with other westerners and the afghans who worked with us.

You travel outside the US, you always travel at risk. With decisions come consequences. Btw, Otto Warmbier was a thief who was convicted of stealing while visiting North Korea. Why anyone would travel to North Korea while Kim Jong-Un is calling the shots needed to have their head examined especially when the North Koreans take stealing very seriously.

Biden should be on TV right now saying "We're going to do everything in our power to get every American out of Afghanistan. If so much as a hair on an American's head is harmed getting to the airport, there will be military consequences."

He should, but he's a degenerate. I think the deadline is September 11th, set by the Taliban, for American to be gone. After that, I would expect the Taliban will imprison or execute any remaining Americans. The Taliban is not an honest or disciplined group. The head of the Taliban might order that Americans not be harmed, but one little group of Taliban might think it fun to drag a few dead Americans through the streets or rape some American women. They can't help themselves. They're rabid animals.

The trapped Americans should consider trying to get out on their own while the Taliban forces are concentrated in the cities.
IOW, they will probably have to walk out, hide or surrender.
I doubt that they will be able to hide for very long.
