So, how many US citizens are now going to end up becoming hostages due to Kamala Harris' call on this?

Whoever advised Biden on this was probably more worried about the right pro nouns being used in our military than anything else. While democrats were more worried about diversity and inclusion, the savages who don’t care about any of that have thousands of hostages to terrorize.

When Biden was given this plan he must of had someone sitting next to him saying ‘but what about the Americans who are scattered across the country?’ If he didn’t have such a person who would say that then that falls on Biden. If he did and ignored it then that falls on Biden.

The only thing I can think of is to send a message to the Muslim terrorists that if one American is injured or killed then we will bomb their leaders and keep bombing them until they get the message. Can anyone think of a better idea?

Sending out thoughts and prayers to all of those US citizens and allies who were left behind. I cannot imagine being placed in that position.

 

I just listened to the State Dept Presser. They sacrificed a Deputy Sec State who appeared clueless. Her briefing was all about meetings and letters sometime in the future but she said nothing about how they were going to save lives today, right now. I find her concern for insuring all the paperwork is complete in view of the total lack of interest in anything at all at our southern border amusing. I next shifted to the Defense Dept presser which was more to the point.

The defense dept is now defending their complete lack of serious planning for an immediate victory by the Taliban. They are on defense with the press. I believe the politicians are more responsible than anyone else.

 

Look guys, the Americans are in good hands.

That's a very volatile thing. It's a good thing for right now to be sure, but this is not the time to be bragging about the Taliban's current commitment to their obligations. You know, wouldn't want a take to age badly and all.

We should not be in the position of begging the Taliban to spare people's lives.

Did they not know that we were pulling all of our troops out in a very short amount of time?

I think there's no way to have evacuated tens of thousands of people in a week. Planes evacuating could only fit a few hundred at a time at best.

 

It seems the whole world knew we were leaving there for the last 18 months.

 

Missionaries, thrill seeking tourists, some CIA ... most of who is left in Afghanistan knew there were risks. It's not
exactly Club Med.

 

Bringing non-citizens into the US takes priority. What a mess!

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't just about any civilian going to AF since 2002 know there are some risks?? As I understand it, there was a war going on there...
