Maybe we should foster a society that doesn't treat procreation like it doesn't come with consequences or that it is slightly more than just playing around? Instead of shrugging off biological facts because they happen to be inconvenient and would hamper your ability to dump and run.

Yea.......let's foster a society like that........

LOL. Increasing the number of unplanned babies will foster the exact opposite: More teen pregnancies and even more unplanned babies.

Or we can do something more realistic, like what I just said.

No, he said something to the effect that the vaccines would be suspect. It was his response to Trump fast tracking the vaccines Biden implied they would not be tested enough to be trusted. Here is Fact Check cleaning up after him:
    • Video clips appear to show Joe Biden and Kamala Harris raising doubts about COVID-19 vaccines, but they were raising concerns about the rollout by then-President Donald Trump, not the vaccines themselves.

Do you think the *average* employee can afford to pay hundreds of dollars for testing (however often the employer dictates) each month?

Have you looked at the Occupational Outlook Handbook recently?

Do you know the life expectancy for the first job a high school graduate gets upon graduation?

Do you know the life expectancy for the first job a college graduate gets upon graduation?

Do you know the average salary for entry-level jobs? (Most minimum wage employers will be forced to accept ANYBODY they can get so they will probably not require vaccinations and when all these people you think should "find another job" are filling those positions, what do you anticipate the job market will look like to unskilled labor that typically fills those positions?).

Or, males sharing in the responsibility for avoiding unwanted pregnancies.

Why do men always get a pass in these equations. A woman can't get pregnant by herself (whether it's a man or done by a doctor).

I know three men that complain constantly that a woman "set them up" and they are stuck with child support payments. Since none of them were hog-tied and sexually assaulted, they set themselves up. You shouldn't be having sex with women you don't know well and/or trusting what she says about her ability to get pregnant. Fifty percent of that responsibility is his but our patriarchal society wants to be the burden on the woman (blame her for wanting an abortion for an unwanted kid, pass judgment on her for needing state assistance and looking down on her for being a single mother). It's beyond ridiculous how we treat women (and then have the audacity to point fingers at how other countries treat their women).

I really hate abortion. I wish we would heal society so that it wasn’t needed as a band aid on an arterial bleed. But nobody is interested in doing that. A society that opens an artery like that has to have some band aid so that’s what we have.

But I see no reason not to be open and honest about the whole thing. Without abortion what would our violent crime statistics look like? What would our public schools struggling with rudderless students look like without abortion? Our literacy rate of graduates would probably be under 50%. What would the National debt be trying to support a population with a 50% literacy rate? Again, I hate abortion but I realize abortion is a symptom of (democratically approved of) societal decay. Making a societal symptom illegal is about as effective as making a Covid symptom illegal.
    Yep.

"To calculate an accurate death rate, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases among vaccinated individuals must be known. But that number isn't, said Lisa Miller, an epidemiologist and clinical professor at the Colorado School of Public Health.

"We don't know that because we're not out there testing everyone (vaccinated)," she told USA TODAY.

This gap in reporting is also acknowledged by the CDC, which relies on voluntary reporting from state health departments.

“Not all real-world breakthrough cases will be identified because of a lack of testing. This is particularly true in instances of asymptomatic or mild illness,” the agency said, emphasizing the data only serves as a “snapshot” to help “identify patterns ... among vaccine breakthrough cases
    .”

Choosing to be vaccinated or not is none of government's business.

The total number of cases was known, so your attempt to deflect from the truth fails:

From the CDC: There are 35,000 symptomatic "breakthrough cases" each week, the presentation shows. Up to 15 percent of deaths in May were among vaccinated people, the presentation shows. That contrasts with previous public CDC data showing deaths occur in a tiny number of vaccinated people, just 0.0005 percent.

That's not going to happen. If it was, it would have happened already. I would argue that should have been in R&D when Roe v. Wade hit the court dockets and completed once that was decided.

It's also not going to happen because men don't want to do anything *extra*. It all falls on the woman. These people won't wear masks. You think they'll wear condoms or get vasectomies or abstain? Hasn't happened. Won't happen.
