And it don't take much speed to coast on a bike. How many mile did he ride the DAY they showed him doing so during the campaign and in what time did he complete it? Why should I have been? Trump TOOK QUESTIONS, constantly. Everywhere he went and whenever he went. He didn't grant the White House Press Corp a "formal" audience and rightfully so after the depths to which it had fallen led by Acosta. After their complicity in the Russian collusion hoax, the Comey/FBI/DOJ/WH spying on his campaign then trying to create a false scenario to deny him the office and then remove him, their complicity with the bogus impeachment he didn't owe them the time of day his last year. But he answered questions CONSTANTLY from the press and the people.

Good grief Biden has a Washington press corp that ADORES him and subjects him to questions about what his favorite ice cream is and was he in awe when he first walked into the WH after being sworn in, forgetting he served two terms as VP claim to be constantly at the hand of Obama and how many times has he kissed Mrs. Biden today. And his handlers are STILL afraid to let him out without what little there is being scripted. And even then he loses his place and has to stop and ask what's he doing.

 

But your complained was about press conferences specifically. Even if the press is toxic, is press conferences are important, then Trump should have done them anyway. Personally I don't care and never watch those anyway.

Great point. Plus the president just recites lines that his writers gave him anyway. You might as well have an administration official just read off those lines, and give the president more hours in the week to do his job.

 

I didn't even know what a press conference was until four years ago during when they let non-msm ask a question. I was kind of upset with Trump when his administration got rid of that and making the press conference for corporate media to ask dumb questions but no one else.

See if this is confusing for you. Donald Trump put one of the largest hospital ships in New York to ease the Pandemic. Your "Democrat Governor of the year" had it at his dispense for Pandemic related use. Instead, for political reasons, he put COVID infected elderyl in Nursing homes and lied (as you often do) about the deaths his actions brought about. Now here Trump did another thing right but because Democrats deny he does anything good, Americans died because of it. Actually 15,000 and counting!
