It's a matter of public record... https://www.forbes.com/sites/andrew...o-refer-to-his-election-loss/?sh=37519f45584c https://www.usnews.com/news/politic...ie-becomes-new-litmus-test-for-success-in-gop https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/may/3/ex-president-trump-redefines-big-lie/
When I Google "enemy of the people," the first result I get is about an 1882 Norwegian playwright. When I Google "big lie," I get " a gross distortion or misrepresentation of the truth, used especially as a propaganda technique. The German expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, to describe the use of a lie so colossal that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously." Hitler claimed the technique was used by Jews to blame Germany's loss in World War I on German general Erich Ludendorff, who was a prominent nationalist political leader in the Weimar Republic." Again, the expression "enemy of the people" was not coined by Hitler nor Stalin. "Big lie" was coined by Hitler, and you all are quoting Hitler.
The fiction is that you are trying to draw a comparison, and it is a false equivalency. Again, you all are quoting Hitler; Trump is quoting you all. That's a big difference.
The fact that Trunt lost by over seven million votes and his supporters share in his delusion that it didn't happen? Those facts? Bravo!
Those are the facts. Trunt's narrative is - wait for it... Still waiting? THE. BIG. FRAKKING. LIE. Deal with it.
OK, I've read through this , the ingenuousness is palpable. Xyce, found one definition of "Bib Lie" and has slipped it by as something Democrats had foreknowledge of consciously used in that context. Nothing except the definition has been provided to tie "Democrats" to Nazi's. And the stupidity is we've allowed, in 25 post, Xyce to slander Democrats and Liberalism on AbsaByGodLutely NOTHING.
Prove that "us guys" knew about your definition and consciously used it when we called tRump's attempt to steal the 2020 election "The Big Lie"; its a thin and horseshit assumption.
Democrats and Never Trumpers all got the same memo, all using that exact phrase. Democrats are also more hostile to Israel. Additionally, they have members who are outright anti-Semitic, such as Ilhan Abdullahi Omar, and instead of those anti-Semites being denounced, they are celebrated. Given this context, you expect me to believe that you all unknowingly did not know the roots of the Hitlerian phrase that you were using?

So even though you know you are clearly quoting Adolf Hitler, you keep doing it carefree. Here, @Noone . Here's more evidence that you all knew it and don't care about it.
The only "fact" here is you are conflating totally different instances of the same phrase as "you are quoting Adolf Hitler". In actuality it was more likely something Goebbels said not Hitler, and has nothing do with tRump other than the only book he's known to have read is Mien Kamph.
Not according to the first paragraph about the phrase in Wikipedia: " The big lie (German: große Lüge) is a gross distortion or misrepresentation of the truth, used especially as a propaganda technique.[1][2] The German expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, to describe the use of a lie so colossal that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously." Hitler claimed the technique was used by Jews to blame Germany's loss in World War I on German general Erich Ludendorff, who was a prominent nationalist political leader in the Weimar Republic. Historian Jeffrey Herf says the Nazis used the idea of the original big lie to turn sentiment against Jews and bring about the Holocaust. " No, no, you all are definitely quoting Hitler. No way around this.
Hitler was crazy. Crazy is boring. I like Goebbels. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."
Lol, history is written by the victors and it's almost never objective truth. Though we do have better documentation these days so maybe the future will figure out who was lying (conservatives). I don't recall many people saying trump didn't win, only that he should not have. Mostly there were calls for abolishing the electoral college, since that's how he won despite getting fewer votes. As for Russia, they did help trump win with propaganda in America. The part democrats were possibly wrong about was the idea of collusion. Though meeting with the Russian lawyer to get dirt on clinton was at least an attempt. Big lie is a bit too unoriginal to still be copyrighted by Hitler.
