So, you admit that she ran down 12 presidents at the same time it looks like to me.

Slaves were hammering nails when Adams lived there. I never heard he ran them off.

The crops of tobacco and cotton, and to a lesser extent, other crops, made the South Billions of dollars, and that's in the 1800s.

Wouldn't you feed your slaves well so they could be stronger and harvest these big money crops better...Duh.

And work them 12 hours a day like dogs in the hot sun with a man standing over them with a whip to "encourage" them. That was good for business.

You MUST be in favor of a return to slavery. Why not?

If it got the Irish out of that (*)(*)(*)(*)hole Africa, I would say yes. But we didn't come from there.

I have stopped asking it. The answer is clear. You think slavery would be the best thing for African blacks. You are just too afraid to say it out loud here.....that is reserved for nights at the bar with your buddies

Yeah, the living conditions were much better for them here, than if they were still in Africa.

Slavery was the reality of that era, and this nation arising as fast as it did was because of slavery. So we owe the children of those early slaves a great debt. The children of these slave, are very lucky in one sense. If not for slavery, they would still be living in a place like Africa. But that does not make slavery acceptable, but history cannot be changed.

The only way to even approach justice for these children of slaves, is in reparations. We should be paying every offspring of an American slave a monthly stipend, a middle class income, for the rest of their lives. This would not change history, the suffering and injustice involved, but it would pay them for the suffering and injustice of their ancestors. And pull them up, which would over the long haul would be the most beneficial thing and end black poverty. If we wanted to be fair and a decent nation. And it would pay them for their ancestors being essential in the creation of the USA. For white people would never have worked on those plantations which was the backbone of early America, agriculture, because the could go west and get their own land, and build their own wealth instead of working for some plantation owner. So, slaves were essential. So, its time to finally pay up. And be glad to do it.

I have no idea who you mean by "she," and I didn't say anyone "ran down 12 presidents." You must be responding to another poster. Either that or you are unable to read my post and think it says something that is not there. In either case, your post is bizarre.

Slavery was considered normal and acceptable for most of human history. Western Culture stopped it, except in areas still under Black and Muslim control. Next.

As to the claims by Bill O'Reilly that the slaves were well fed, this comes from the White House Historical association. Bill simply reported the facts.

OK, you managed to get to E-6. A rank that is serious.

I was in 2 years and my rank was E-4. US Army based in Schweinfurt Germany, in HQ/HQ company, 1st Bn, 30th Infantry.

It is normally harder for a draftee to get above E-3 in 2 years. I actually was to make E-5 had the same company commander remained in charge. His replacement was swayed by the 1st Sgt since I was then not too far from discharge. It allocation went to a regular army guy from Atlanta, Bob Smith then the clerk for the HQ commanding officer,a Lt. Col.

So since you were in the Navy, and not the Army, I see why you don't understand how it was in the Army.

Two years? Are you kidding? I probably had more time in military schools that you had in the military! Hoy cow.....you don't get to claim to know about anything. That is hilarious.

If Mrs. Obama was not approving slavery, by the logic I see by posters,. it has to mean she ran down slavery. 12 presidents owned them ergo she ran down 12 presidents. Without going back to your comment to some poster, that will do until I locate what you had told the other poster.

Since I held leadership slots for about 5 months in basic and AIt, plus my duty at Ft. Benning and in a HQ unit, yes I do know the army of the 1960s.

As to the navy, nope, just what I glean from chatting with former navy officers.

I agree in part. I agree they were better off in America than in Africa. They had been slaves in Africa.

There a slave owner could simply kill them and obtain new captives.

I do not agree that current blacks be paid from the public funds. For about the same Reason Davy Crockett did not agree in his era with payments to other victims.

What is strange about that smear is I actually complimented you. I assure you, had I put in 10 years in the Army enlisted. I would easily have made E7 or higher in similar time.
