Bill O'Reilly says slaves were well fed

She said it was built by slaves. She should have said slaves helped build it. It was never taught in school. Can you name one slave that worked on it ?

Historically slavery has been the norm until recent times. The last country in the world to abolish slavery was Mauritania in 1981 believe it or not. But it is and has always been an abomination.

 

Sudan has slavery to this day.

Michelle brought it up as part of her steady assertion that America is racist and don't anyone forget it. Like her first day, when she said it was her first time to be proud of our country. She's just sick.

However, has anyone ever considered what this constant racist diatribe of Michelle and other black leaders and Hollywood does to the minds of little kids? What if everything we learned in history or saw in movies or heard mentioned by leaders were unrelenting graphic details of daily rapes of women. Don't you think it would impair the self respect, self esteem and empowerment of generations of young women?

I put forth that the liberals are deliberately doing the same thing to the self esteem of the black population in order to suppress them and make them feel hopeless and dependent on the Democratic leadership (even though MLK himself was a registered republican). Repeatedly, slaves are depicted as beaten and raped and denigrated. The fact is, it didn't happen 100% of the time by 100% of the slave owners. Some slaves were educated, learned valuable skills such as science, record keeping and mathematics, earned freedom and rose to prominence. In light of all that was wrong in the 10 centuries where enslavement was the norm around the world, why not embrace the positives and hail the courage and successes rather than exaggerate and regurgitate the negatives.

 

Slavery was legal in the Untied States before the war, during the war, and on the day the Civil War ended. Those are the facts.

 

When slaves were being raped they should have embraced the positive.....always look on the bright side of life.....lol
