    Muslim terrorists existed long before drone warfare. We've been fighting them on and off for most of the history of this country. (the "Barbary pirates" were Muslim terrorists).

    Fallibility should, at least, be acknowledged when prejudices dictate guesses So, good for you.

    I would be surprised if the perpetrator were not 1) young, 2) male, and 3) some sort of zealot.

    Of the latter, there are just too many varieties to speculate. Crackpots will latch onto a wide range of pretexts for doing crackpot things.
