Businesses like Chick Fil-A have to be boycotted

Man, its sad to see so many leftist who hate a company who pays more than the minimum wage to their entry level employees just because they don't like the beliefs of the owner. Way to harm the low level worker first.

They are dumb too, but lets be honest, NFL players wont be "hurt" if their income is taken away till they personally spend all their money by their own choice. A football player will make more in one week than a CFA cashier will make in 5 years. Its pretty much a false equivalency since the right isn't protesting for the player to be paid more against the owners will. The left, despite full evidence to prove raising the min wage hurts those workers, still wants to boycott those who are working for a company like CFA and Hobby Lobby who pay their employees above the proposed $15/hr.

 

The dumbest thing the liberals are doing is to assume that they have a right to control everybody else's rights. To dictate other people's values, even their thoughts- if no legally, then by social blackmail.

Remember that when you adopt such a concept- it's a double edge sword, and when the people you try to oppress and blackmail with it are sick and tired of you- you have already made that tactic an acceptable rule of the game, and then- it's only just that the same tactics are used to make you the victim of it. Chick-Fil-A isn't coming to your door to tell you how to live. Not forcing you or anyone else to patronize them. Not forcing anyone to come to work their that doesn't want to- and they should have the right to not have to buy services that they don't want, just as you have that right.

They, like any other free enterprise ARE NOT social service agencies. They don't exist to satisfy your expectations; and they have no obligation to bring about equality in your perception of them. Your control is simple- If you don't like them for any reason, don't go there. Deprive them of your business. That is the limit of your rights.

 

Chick-Fil-A employees are privileged to be working for a moral company.

Many do for the NFL. Twitter, google and FB are different entities. Those 3 are supposed to be platforms, and they regularly discriminate against conservatives. Kneeling during the NA is an individuals right and doesn't discriminate against any of the customers. The owner of CFA giving his own money to the charities he chooses to doesn't infringe upon the rights of who gets served.

They are businesses, not social services. They aren't discriminating. They have rules and policies. I bet Chick Fil A does too...can you go in there and promote violence?
