I simply don't understand the counter for a BLM stance to be black on black crime.

BLM is an organization that discusses BOTH the imbalance of treatment by police between black and white, but it also addresses the factors that lead to black on black crime.

Is anyone who is using black on black crime to counter BLM interested or investigating WHY the rates of black on black crime are so high? Or is it just a convenient (but uninformed) counter to BLM?

BLM's focus is neither police treatment imbalance nor black on black crime. Their focus is to degrade and eliminate -- up to and including murder -- the police. Their marching mantras were (are??), "What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want it? Now!' and the ditty that included the phrase "pigs in a blanket frying like bacon." They were behind, among other things, the police sniper ambush and murder in Dallas, for instance.

You will have to dive into the data, but the statistics here are from 2015 through current day 2020. I'll summarize as I went right to unarmed killings and then you can see how many per race. 2015 through today:
White: 145
Black: 123

 

If you genuinely cared as much about the well being of the Black community as you did about your virtue signaling you probably wouldn't have gotten as many rhetorical spankings as you've gotten throughout this thread.

The only way to solve any problem is to face the most relevant facts first.

It is simply an ugly fact that blacks commit a disproportionate number of the crimes in America, not just the Black community.
That's the primary fact that self appointed "activists", craven politicians and apologists for mob violence have neither the courage nor the integrity to confront.

Yes, police violence and racism against the Black community does exist and must be addressed but it is not rectified by destroying our cities, pandering to violent mobs or defunding the police.
