It's still BS range is an artifact of battery capacity. I don't doubt software updates can make range better than it currently is but it will never make it better than it was when you bought it and since that's what you said that's what I claim to be BS.

And it won't ever be anything but BS. If you want to do your routine and attack me and my reading comprehension skills because I don't believe you do whatever you have to do.

I don't remember exactly what the percent of recharge loss is but from what I have heard, the batteries diminish pretty fast!

If we ever unlock the technology for a solid state battery. That loss of capacity will be greatly reduced so long as there's not a Cascade of dendritic growth inside. Dendritic growth is death to most batteries but it will be a quick hard death for a solid state battery.

I posted two sources. This is pathetic and sad — even for you and that is saying something.

Your opinion does not overrule data no matter how many times you regurgitate it

    Embarrassing

A third source that would embarrass one that had credibility

    From the model Y
Last year, a software update increased the range of the Model Y Long Range from 315 to 326 miles. https://carbuzz.com/news/tesla-model-y-is-getting-a-significant-range-upgrade

I guess the alternative is that tens of thousand of owners, automotive journalists, and TSB’s are all lying to suppress your superior opinion that you made up on the fly.

Fake data doesn't reflect reality I'm sorry you're embarrassed.

You know people that insist that the Earth is a flat disc mounted on the back of the turtle think they have data for that too.

You can post a thousand sources claiming the Earth is flat it won't make it flat.

Flat Earth soothsayer battery equally stupid.

Proving the earth is a irregularly shaped ellipsoid can be done with scientific literature. The flat earth theories are not sources they are people screaming their false opinions over the easily variable facts.

Seems you have that in common with flat earthers.

Your battery doesn't magically travel backwards through time.

I don't care What mechanisms you used to convince yourself of this insanity but they aren't going to work on me find someone more gullible to lie to.

I know what some people look electric cars are like a religion and I don't care if that's you just don't expect me to worship at the same altar

I am not the one saying my opinion overrules data from both private and governmental data. That would be you.

I will never understand how someone’s agenda can be so blinding to fact but then I see the arguments of people like yours.

If you are so sure of yourself post a source showing these improvements to range did not occur. Shouldn’t be difficult. Or pull a cop out like the typical debate strategy you have perfected.

dude I was just asking you a question you could have been honest with me.

What you claimed is not possible. So I know any of the data sources you presented don't support your claim.

You did find data sources that support your claim they are discredited for doing that.

Chances are it's a marketing gimmick to trick you into buying an inferior product.

    I answered the question.

As normal you have no sources — thus why you did not post one — just your opinion.

Just because something is beyond your comprehension doesn’t make it not possible. That is an extremely arrogant belief

You still don't get it I don't need to give you any sources I'm not trying to convince you of anything.

I don't care if you believe that your battery moves backwards through time and gets better with age.

Think whatever insane things you want.

You are trying to convince me of something. You have failed. You can throw a set I think it's rather amusing but it won't lend any Credence to your claim.

That would have to disagree with him I don't think the power grid would be an issue as slow as it's moving the power grid would be able to keep up.

The two problems I would have with it is the cars are disposable and they become e-waste rather than being sold on the used car market. And the logistics.

At this point electric cars only represent about a third of a percent of registered cars in the United States. So that makes them convenient. What happens if that number quadruples quintuples let's say they represent 5% of registered vehicles. There would have to be charging stations in various places can just do it at your home because that means you can only take that car the distance of half the range away from your house.

So people would have to rely on other chargers. Now I've been in a line for gasoline having to wait behind four or five cars and that normally takes about 30 minutes. If each car had to take 30 minutes charging that would take several hours and people would stop buying them if they were inconvenienced to that level.

Question is, how long will the government have to subsidize them? Will the fact they are subsidized limit the incentive to work out all the flaws or just keep subsidizing the flaws? Free Markets of course have one large advantage......competition!

This is why I said reading comprehension please. No one is trying to convince you the battery has gotten better with age — the systems that utilize that battery have been improved through system updates and thus are more efficient.

If comprehension of the written word wasn’t an issue here, you would have seen that in my sources.

As normal you are chasing a strawman.

They only section off large parts of big cities and try to burn Police officers and blind them with lasers.

system updates would not be capable of making your car get more range now than when it was new.

I comprehend what you are saying. It's just that it's BS.
    again not a comprehension issue.

Your sources either don't support your claim because your claim is absurd, for the sources you provided are BS.
Incorrect I just don't believe blatant lies.

Interesting as that is all you are spouting in this thread. Tesla should hire you since you are so much more knowledgeable than everyone that works there.

I have seen arrogance before but this is a master class. Bravo

I wouldn’t speak of reality being anything with the gymnastics being pulled here but I guess we all have different levels of credibility. Meanwhile my vehicle is up 30 miles per charge from where it was and your is just costing you more each month.

No doubt but it's down from when it was new.

Batteries degrade as they cycle. I'm sure software updates can help but they can't put life back in the battery.
