Obama had doubled the gov't spending to give out more phones, and in 2012, it was costing over 2 billion dollars. In 2015, it was expanded to include internet for FREE. Obama did kind of take it to a whole other level.

Even a few are hampering rescue efforts. Now an already overworked Law Enforcement, rescue, and civilian rescue will have a more difficult time, and it will take longer to rescue-which means the potential for more victims.

Stop making excuses for bad behavior.

And in the case of a disaster, where supplies may mean the difference between life and death, and where there is no law enforcement-I can see why lethal force is justified.

In My humble opinion, during such extreme circumstances such as a disasters like this, rioters and looters should be immediately and publicly executed. As an act of discouragement to other would be looters. **** like that is the absolute last thing we need during a time like this. The amount of damage they can do is horrid.

I don't think this is true overall, however the "Cajun Navy" was indeed mostly likely at least 90%+ White.

It is interesting to study the "data" that we are able to gather involving race. Houston is one of, if not THE MOST, racially diverse city in the nation and is a great "guinea pig". If you look at the cities demographics, look at the videos of who needs help and who is providing help and then look at the video's we see in the shelters, you can see a couple pieces of info stand out.

- First of all, the city is something like 38% white, 18% black, 36% Hispanic, 7% Asian

- I am sure the people with more resources (wealth) were able to better "batten down the hatches" and successfully stayed home to ride it out. This is Probably 50% white, 30% Hispanic, 10% black, 10% Asian for overall numbers but that is completely my Best Guess and nothing more (although I do think accurate)

- Lastly I think that the "people with means" would better be able to go out and help other people. Other than the racially diverse National Guard, the people doing the saving have been almost exclusively White.

It would be interesting to know the race of the "looters" and the guys pulling guns on the rescuers, but oh well that is impossible to know so we should not add it to the facts.

The signs you hear about with anti-white people and anti-Trump stuff is ridiculous, but I think it is a very small minority of Blacks overall

The videos of the shelters look (I would say) 50% Black, 20% white, 25% Hispanic, 5% Asian/Other.

If you put all that information together, it all really does make sense and is all factual information that can't really be debated.

 

It was essentially 3 months later, but yes, pretty much EXACTLY that began to happen. In Urban areas ... The Milwaukee area in particular, where I'm originally from ... Yes, kiosks by the Corner Gas Stations, by the Day Labor Agencies, yes.

Amen. This is a natural disaster and people are dying, and we have people who want to defend the looters, or who have their panties in a wad because Trump is handling this well -- like they'd rather see him fail (at the expense of their fellow Americans) so they can gain political ammunition.

 

You just hit the nail on the head. Some would prefer to see things go terrible so that it reflects poorly on Trump. They'd apparently also rather see the looters get the "loot" without hassling with storm victims.
