California obviously doesn't care but that doesn't mean they can aid abet the law breakers that fill up the state and impede and thwart the enforcement of federal law. They are the new Jim Crow state, simply ignoring federal law and doing whatever they please...not just ignoring the law but actively working to subvert it.

And I take it you are a fan of Jim Crow justice also.

The point is, if you want to quibble, that Entry into the Union is a federal Obligation since 1808. All foreign nationals in the US should by federal law, have a federal id. A simple fee or fine can make that happen via applied Capitalism, and continue the right wing penchant for tax cut economics.

Massive Project28 2018 poll of all twenty-eight countries in the EU:

    http://project28.eu/migration-terrorism-2018/

"Illegal immigration remains a very serious problem facing Europeans. 78% of respondents are worried about illegal immigration in their countries, while more than two-thirds of survey participants are afraid that African immigrants will arrive to Europe in masses in the next decade. The perception of migration has also CHANGED, with more and more people believing that the majority of migrants come to Europe for economic reasons and STATE BENEFITS."

The push for open borders is a losing proposition, and perhaps a bloody losing proposition for the political class if they keep up this nonsense.

They can't keep those Californians dumb and down on the farm forever.

Great. Round up the millions of unknown and undocumented illegal immigrants and try to get them to pose for your federal id.

And while you're at it, see how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

lol. a simple fee or fine can make that happen via Capitalism and voluntary social transactions. And, make it easier for the States.

This is a federal problem and should be solved in federal districts.

None of those people can be arrested, as they have not committed a crime.

Aiding and abetting criminals is a crime.

Harboring illegal aliens is a crime.

    Sedition is a crime.

Making it a crime to defend and protect the Constitution is a crime.

And none of those people are doing that.
In ones own home or place of business? Sure. None of these people are doing that though.
    nobody is being seditious here.
Nobody has made it a crime to defend and protect the constitution

The relationship between the federal government and states is completely different than between a state and local government. State law always overrides local laws.

Should we start asking how many foreign Persons have applied for citizenship while in residence in the US?

If no application has been made, they must be considered tourists and issued a federal id., for a capital fee or fine.

The government of California has the whole state as their "place of business".

California is acting no differently than Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama, etc. were when they kept their Jim Crow laws that violated federal civil rights and ignored federal law.

The next time some delusional liar tries to tell you California is breaking no laws or federal code ask how California is behaving differently
in principle or with regards to federal law than Jim Crow states were in the fifties and early sixties.

Then watch as they go into their little bullshit dance.

looks like you don't understand how the 14th amendment works, or enforcement of federal immigration laws. States can't discriminate on the basis of race, religion or sex via the 14th amendment. This is why jim crow laws were struck down and the states put in their place. There is no such provision in the constitution that can force a state to enforce federal immigration law.

I'd love to see Jerry Brown try to remove the troops blocking his access to the state capitol the way Orville Faubus tried to
stand in the doorway of an elementary school when the National Guard escorted black children to school.

you didn't provide any facts. The state of California is not the governments place of business. The state is not "harboring or aiding and abetting" illegal aliens. They simply do not permit state/local resources be used to enforce federal law.

The government of California is responsible for everything within their borders. They regulate and provide services for the entire state.

Therefore, clearly they are responsible for their decisions inside the entire state.

very good. In no way relevant to anything we are discussing though.

yes, but they are not breaking any laws. Which is the point.

Of course it's relevant. They're harboring illegal aliens against federal law.

If illegal aliens are protected anywhere in the state of California, their state government is accountable.

    Thanks.

That's where the corporate state is heading, that's why you no longer have a right to Habeas Corpus, that's why corporate for profit prisons with convict labor leasing are a growth business. and that's also why they're over joyed with the prospects of walling in america.

    It is not.

I've shown you they are not.
they aren't protected. States just aren't permitting state/local funds be used to enforce federal law.
    .

no problem. I'm happy to educate you.
