But don't you understand? That is not actual evidence.

Again, that wouldn't have changed the results. What specific statute was broken and why has no court ruled that the changes were illegal? And, yes, the court is the body that has the power to determine whether or not they were illegal.

There's plenty of statistical evidence, albeit not conclusive, that the election was stolen.
To use 2020 as a tool in upcoming elections, Republicans need not "conclusively prove" the election stolen: just that as conducted, argue that the system needs to be "de-fortified". That appears to be a winning issue for them.

It wasn't a winning issue in Georgia in 2020. In fact it was a disaster.

I think it did well in Texas. Maybe Florida? reviewing.

Having looked at some of this "statistical evidence," it's complete bull ****. Most of the time, to reach the "statistical" conclusion desired by the conspiracy nutters, they start with the conclusion. The numbers start with the assumption that Trump should have won in order to reach the "conclusion" that it was statistically unlikely he would have lost.

The problem is that telling people that their vote probably won't count is a good way to get them to not vote in the first place.

How w do you know it wouldn't? They already lied about there not being any illegal activity. How can we be sure they aren't lying about the vote count?

The court can't change law. i.e extending ballot deadlines

Some court cases about this have already been tried and failed. If there was a case to be made . . . then why did no one make it?

If anyone said there was NO illegal activity, they were being hyperbolic. There were a few dozen or so examples of illegal activity . . . by Trump supporters. The actual claim is that there is no evidence of massive voter fraud, enough to overthrow the election. Something you and your fellow conspiracy theorists continue to fail to provide.

Then quote the specific statute that was broken. And assuming every said ballot was for Biden, explain how that would have actually changed the results of the election.

Constantly harping on how an election was stolen is counter productive for winning future elections.

It would also be moronic for republicans to run Trump in 2024. Too old, too unpopular and too damaged by Jan 6th.

If it is not conclusive why are you obsessed with it? We have federal elections every 2 years in this country. The entire house and 1/3 of senate seats and every 4 a new presidential election.

Because that is not the nature of "evidence".

It's probably the ONLY way that the GOP would fail to gain a majority in 2022.

But if he loses the primaries, he's going to lash out at the winner and turn as much of his base as he can against them. I don't see any GOP presidential candidate winning in 2024 if he or she has invoked Trump's ire, and he's pretty vindictive. He's not going to be quiet about it. He has made a couple of comments about his health maybe keeping him from running, though. The best bet for the GOP will be if Trump never even so much as enters the primaries.

The strange part of this for the Republicans is if they looked at how independents voted in 2020, their irrationalism would come to the for in continuing to back Trump. 41% of independents voted for Trump in 2020, 48% voted for Republican congressional candidates, 51% for republican senate candidates and 52% for Republican governorship candidates. That 41% stands out. Now if one wants to carry this into 2021, independents went for Youngkin in Virginia 54-45, a huge turn around from 2020 when independents went to Biden 57-38. That’s a huge 28-point swing. Considering Youngkin kept Trump at arm’s length, that should tell the GOP’ers something.

The Republicans continuing to push Trump is going to come back and bite them big time in my opinion. It’s completely irrational. The GOP should have put Trump to rest after November 2020. Not doing so is something that will haunt them in 2024 if they run him again. Even for this year’s midterms, with Biden’s and the Democratic controlled congress approval rating in the dumps, at or below 40% for both, with 65% of all Americans thinking this country is on the wrong track, headed in the wrong direction, you should be looking at a red wave. You’re not. Perhaps a net gain of 15-20 seats going by today’s numbers in the house when it should be 40 or more going by historical averages with those numbers. A senate where either party could gain or lose 1-2 seats. No major change there. It’s 50-50 which party will control the senate today. All I can say is the GOP is pretty damn dumb when it come to winning elections. The Republican Party is still the smaller of the two major parties, as such, they must win the independent vote or lose the election. They’re not going to win independents with Trump.

Such a decisive demonstration of the relative appeal of the normal Republican Party to the American electorate vs the appeal of the RINOs of Trumpery underscores irrationality.
it is an emotional affinity, not one of reason.

Any abstract scenario of a losing presidential incumbent being incapable of handling the truth but, instead, contriving to invalidate a democratic election by fraudulent machinations and a goon attack on Congress would assure his ignominy in the Party and in the nation, not a craven exhibition of shameless, spineless candidates sucking up to him.

Actually, it is how "evidence" works. If the Republicans takeover Congress, they need to go scorched earth on that ****.

Trump and his cultists already tried to go scorched earth to the point that they wanted to reverse the entire election and eliminate millions of votes . . . cancelling out entire states. How much further do you want them to go?

The court case in Pa was rejected by the state supreme court. Nothing fishy about that...lol

Again, not enough to change the election. And if they had a case, why was it rejected? The courts have jurisdiction when deciding cases. That's how it works.

    Pretty much.. NO..

2020 demonstrated that the establishment can seat who ever they, want by vote manipulation.. Trump's first election was a fluke.

    Still, I will vote.

Again, you have no way of knowing that because it was rigged.

Judges can't change law. That's how it works.

You have no evidence it was "rigged."
You can't just overthrow elections based on feelings. The facts don't care about your feelings, and you have no evidence. That's how it works. And you still haven't shown what law was changed, after I've repeatedly asked you for the specific statute.

I agree. While I have no doubt there was dishonesty and fraud in the 2020 election (on both sides), my doubts don't amount to proof that the election was stolen from Donald Trump.
