Why care about, "national debt".
Who is gonna collect who don't need today.
It seems the national debt is merely a paper / accountants game
and of no concern to me.

Actually... what I had in mind was paying off the national debt of the USA from the province of Alberta ..... near Calgary where Calgary Dollars are accepted........
and it is through a massive semi- reality science fiction ..... plus reality film project.......... set in an alternative universe 2012 to 2020........ starring Mr. Mitt Romney as The White Horse President....... (because if Biden only got sixty eight million or so legal votes....... then he may not really be President number two in the Kim Clement prediction from 2008 that fits with a nearly two century old Latter day Saint prediction?!?!

It might be safer to go with the White Horse First Lady though.......????? Mrs. Ann Romney is a lot more diplomatic than her husband is.......

There is also a federal unemployment system which gives money to states who have trouble coverting their unemployment claims. As usual we use federal government to cover for incompetence in state governments. And the cover is itself corrupt and incompetent. It is what it is. We can't stop it.

In my opinion the reason is psychological.....
Canada and America can operate in the Black.....
rather than in the Red.......

and this can be done practically at the stroke of a pen.........

... but this is highly offensive to influential people who believe firmly in

Then it's just as psychological to think there's no reason to need to pay off the debt.

All one has to ask is what is accomplished with a debt or without a debt. Especially when it only amounts to x's in the left column or the right column of a spread sheet.

IMO, all that really needs to be controlled is inflation/deflation. And a confidence in a monetary system.
We don't trade chickens for services any more. So the value of money is the confidence one has in the system of money being used. Be it USA$ or bitcoin.

most of us actually are "Deplorables" and we really do not comprehend MMT, (Modern Monetary Theory), Quantitive Easing or even the history of Social Credit Theory so........
