From 19 years of taking it I am convinced that MSM assists in detoxifying our cells and eventually our blood.

    Cancer is a fungal disease.

Ulcers are due to stress which weakens the immune system. I suggest you read the book Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers.

Yes...... but apparently there is also a bacteria involved that can be treated by a certain type of antibiotics.

People shouldn't use antibiotics unless necessary. My uncle died because he became antibiotic resistant. Ulcers can be treated other ways with diet and managing stress.

Here is the chemical formula of what happens when sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) reacts with hydrochloric acid (stomach acid):

    NaHCO3 + HCl → NaCl + H2O + CO2(g)

It produces salt, water and carbon dioxide. Nowhere is it producing oxygen.

Except that diet and stress management only treat the symptoms. Antibiotics treat the disease. So while I agree the antibiotics and being overused, I think the benefits of killing off the bacteria that cause the ulcer outweighs the risks.

Antibiotics can weaken the immune system since it kills not only the bad bacteria but also the good bacteria in the gut.

What do you people think about Kangen water (water ionizers)?

How about hard water? Isn't it a natural alkaline water? :new:

It's bullshit. If you want your body to be alkaline drink plenty of pure water and eat plenty vegetables and moderate amount of fruits.

Well.... here is another wild statement that I just ran into......
but it seems logical to me..... this man Henry Gruver.... at the 1:09... mark in this video... claims that BITTERNESS... is the food of cancer.......
    so actually forgiving others.......
    could assist in beating cancer!

Well known fact that emotional states cause excessive digestive fluids and may cause ulcers and conditions that may lead to cancers of the stomach.

I'm going to take five extra miles on the bike tonight after dark, and after the temp drops below 86 F.

    That should be more oxygen.

The global warming crowd ? Oh, like every accredited institute of higher learning in the world. Like the position of every country our military and every department . Every major corporation ...and even the Republican Party before citizens united past.
I would call the deniers....a crowd, and a strange one at that.

Oh leave off, the records of climate change are in the ice cores going back over 10,000 years or more, and there is very very little I can do about it presumably, so I won't worry, I won't fret.

I knew about this back in 1973 when I started looking into it, I convinced my parents to leave off using any cans with chloroflorocarbons, and anything that harms the Ozone layer.

And I was only 9 years old, so I have a good record as far as that goes.
