Blaming 'dems' isn't quite on target. Fiat lending, climate regulations and covid shut downs, in that order, are the primary causes of the accelerating inflation. These are the practices of governments (particularly western governments), and not just leftists ones. The climate hysteria and authoritarian response to the flu are pretty heavily weighted on leftism, but we've been using the central banks' funny money to inflate the economy and drive it toward an inevitable collapse for generations, including the right wing ones.

It seems to me the latter, more recent two just hit the gas pedal enough that now everyone is able to see it happening. But its been happening by design for longer than any of us have been alive because we accepted a long time ago that we could prosper now by shoveling our debt into the future.
