If Hilarity Clinton wins (now, pretty much a foregone conclusion), you will see a big change. I hope you like it. It will last until the Russians and the Chinese shut it down. Like I said, with any luck, I'll be dead by the time the (*)(*)(*)(*) really hits the fan. But, you and your sort won't be... and THAT will be my revenge!:alcoholic::spin::party:

And where we have hundreds of thousands of legal travelers to and from every year.

Do you support closing off US borders and not allowing Americans to travel abroad?

Because if someone has a passport or a legal visa those documents act as perfect protection from disease.

Only after committing genocide on the Native Americans and wiping out their entire society and infrastructure.

What evidence do you have this disease wasn't carried by an American who went abroad for vacation or business?

And people wonder why I want progressives locked away?

Progressives would risk an epidemic to look morally superior to others...

Do I need to remind you not to stick your finger in an outlet next?

So do you support total autarky and banning US citizens from travelling to other countries?

Right you are. Far more Americans visit other countries than the number of immigrants to America. More than 70 million Americans travel abroad every year which is substantially more than all immigration, legal and otherwise, in the US annually. If you want to quarantine the US against disease you'd have to shut the boarders to all travel for Americans.

    Why would I?

There is a big difference between US citizens traveling abroad, and bringing in MILLIONS of people from countries where disease is an issue.

And that doesn't even touch on the millions of foreigners who legally travel to the US for business or on vacation.

Because American citizens have some special magical barrier that prevents them from picking up diseases abroad and bringing them back?

69 million people a year visit the US legally according to the US Commerce Department. Tourism is the first, second or third largest economic activity for 29 States according to them. So closing the border would have a pretty devastating impact on the US economy. But the right knows best don't they.

There is far more of a risk when you're importing MILLIONS of people from South of the border (or anywhere risky really).

You do understand that legal travel by US citizens abroad and legal travel by foreigners to the US for vacation or business is more than 10 times greater than the amount of legal and illegal immigration yes?

So u less you intend to ban all travel to and from the US for citizens and foreigners, then you too are okay with risking pandemic.

Point in fact: the last major pandemic to hit the US and kill millions was carried by US citizens.

You act like the Native American Indians were a peace loving non-violent group. Well, they weren't.

They invaded neighboring tribes, killed, raped, and took slaves.

    And they also practiced cannibalism...

And you act like whites didn't have a disproportionate advantage over Native Americans when it came to later curing diseases.

If 9 out of every 10 whites were killed and then the remained forced to live on the worst possible land their oppressors were willing to give them, how effective do you think they would be at curing diseases?

As gross as it is, I thought this just caused Thrush and yeast infections. When did it become deadly?

And people wonder why I despise the weak.

The weak would risk their fellow Americans health based on their own fears. (American Ebola patients coming back to USA)

Do I need to remind you to man up?

See, you wouldn't make a very good detective. Have all of these people's CAREGIVERS been vetted for travel?
Reading isn't the only thing you have to do to gain understanding.
One must correlate data from other sources.
One must also be able to remember not to knee jerk.
There are related increases in TB and other things like Polio and even Bubonic Plague that have popped up.
Denying that foreign immigrants can bring infectious diseases into this country is not a defensible position.
You might try helping to deal with the consequences instead of going into cover up mode.
What is wrong with you people?

Obviously, if the fungi was not originally found here in the US, and there are human vectors, then the fungi did indeed come here by humans traveling from infected areas overseas.

Same thing with Cimex lectularius (aka, bed bugs). There is an epidemic of them thanks to foreign invaders.
