Meh! Nearly every country is doing the same thing the Oxford vaccine was closest to final trial as far as I know but they could be aiming at doing what the Chinese and Russians are doing Rolling it out without a trial and hoping like hell it works and does not have massive side effects
I have read conflicting information from normally reliable sources. Everything from what you said all the way to bypassing normal safety protocols and cutting short normal testing periods. The parallel analysis was the most recent one I read but even that can cause potential issues. If the vaccine is safe and we have just poured the appropriate pressure and resources to get it to market then it will have my complete support. If it has been subject to the normal fraud and cronyism while cutting corners to meet the election deadline — something that is not unheard of — I will be against it.
Where are shutdowns happing forever? I live between two states across two state lines. No where between those two places are shut down. There is some distancing requirements and one state has a mandatory mask mandate.
Pharmaceutical companies are saying we will have a vaccine by that time, Scientists are raising alarms that it is being rushed. If you don’t understand the difference between the two I don’t really have much else to say
Great. Let's hold up the vaccines. We can quote all the liberals pushing for the delay when they later claim that Trump hasn't done enough. I'm good with that, since I believe COVID isn't nearly as dangerous as liberals made it out to be.
Nah, I say we allow trump supporters to get it, that will give the general population enough immunity to not transmit it along with social distancing and face coverings. After a reasonable period of time, if they are not dying from heart complications or some other ailment then the rest of the general population can start taking it. I am fine with this
Exactly. Even during Summer 2021, I wouldn't expect a return to big concerts and large crowds at sporting events. Spring 2022 would be the earliest, that we could expect any sort of "return to pre-covid normalcy". ^That would probably be a best-case scenario. Obviously, many of the things that we enjoyed pre-covid are lost forever and will never be the same.
