This is good news all around. Glad Trump at least had the good grace to send leveler heads to do the talking. His 5th grade letter certainly didn't help.

The invasion started while the US troops were still in the area, so no Turkey did not invade after the US troops left. Turkey had planned all along to invade Syria in order to clear an area to allow Kurdish refugees in Turkey to return home. Hopefully a deal includes this area to allow the refugees to return home.

Trump is the child who took a crap on the floor, then wants praise for cleaning half of it up after it sat there for three days.

We have no problem with Kurdish people. But we have been fighting PKK for more than 30 years. PKK is marxist-leninist separatist terorist organization and Kurds in Turkey mostly do not support it.

YPG is connected to PKK(This is what Turkey thinks) that's why we made operation.

Turkey had already told US for YPG to withdraw. But Trump did not listen. If he listened, we would not be there

Our armed forces killed 702 YPG militants but how many civilians died, do you know it ? All American media lied about our armed forces are slaughtering Kurdish civilians. And the worst thing was, you Americans forgot Turkey had been an ally. Anyway we got almost what we wanted.

BTW, we did not agreed for permanent ceasefire ! If YPG does not lay down arms we will continue.

Check your facts. Turkey implemented an incursion across the entire Turkish/Syrian border which is hundreds of miles.

50 US troops at one base, who pulled out after hostilities began was not abandonment.

Instead of more war, and more US troops in harms way-Trump gave peace a chance through his diplomacy.

Erdogan made more than a few bucks buying oil from ISIS and selling the oil on the world's markets.

lol so Trump makes a mess. Has to impose sanctions to get Turkey back on board then claims success for fixing his own screw-up.

The movie about this whole thing is gonna be looked with incredulity in the future because nobody is going to believe any POTUS was that stupid.

Still going with the Putin narrative. The desperation is getting pretty pathetic.

You know that the Mueller report came out a while back right?

Well why don't you explain how Trump was going to stop Erdogan and a NATO country from invading Syria with 1000 troops.

What did anyone else do? Where was Justin from Canada?

The only reason Syria is the way it is is due to 7 years of decisions by Obama.

We have no Kurdish refugees. What are you talking about. We have 3.7 million registered Syrians refugees (Mostly Syrian Arabs and Syrian Turkomans)

Well, he could have just Not pulled back the troops that he did. Leaving a functioning US base to be invaded by others and so had to bomb it. In fact, literally go back to doing what they were doing a week ago, and not do what Trump did.

If he wanted to pull out, he could have strategically worked with the Kurdish allies to do so in a way that would not let them get slaughtered, not release ISIS Fighters and Families, and not basically smash a pie into his own face politically speaking

We have been sitting on the sidelines and leaving them to die for years now, unfortunately. Trudeau screwed them when we pulled out our fighters and never sold them weapons like we promised, nor have we dealt with our own nationals who are/were held by the Kurds. In fact, NA and Western Nations have been extremely crappy at helping out one of the few factions in the ME that actually likes us and wants to help us. It's shameful.

The only reason Syria is the way it is is due to 7 years of decisions by Obama.[/QUOTE]
Your right in that Obama is the reason the Syrian War began. Trump is responsible for his responses since taking office.
