Child porn found in documents Alex Jones sent to Sandy Hook family lawyers, court filing says. Jones denies any knowledge of the images, and Infowars describes the emails as a "malware attack attempting to embed" child porn on their servers.

Lawyers representing families of Sandy Hook massacre victims who are suing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones said they received child pornography in documents they were sent by the Infowars founder, according to court papers filed Monday in Connecticut.

Consultants working with the lawyers discovered the images in the documents that were requested during a court hearing in April, the filing states. A lawyer representing the families immediately alerted the Federal Bureau of Investigation, according to the filing.

“The FBI advised counsel that its review located numerous additional illegal images, which had apparently been sent to Infowars email address,” the filing says.

During a segment on Infowars last week, Jones’ lawyer, Norm Pattis, said the FBI cleared Jones after an inquiry found “there was no suggestion that anyone here wanted that material, ever looked at it or even knew about it.”

Any "suggestion that anyone at Infowars knew child [pornography] was embedded in emails is risible," Pattis added in a statement to NBC News.

The FBI did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Jones did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday, but Infowars has described the emails as a "malware attack attempting to embed" child porn on Jones' servers.

During a profanity-fueled segment of "The Alex Jones Show" on Friday, Jones said he was offering a $1 million reward to whoever could track down the person who tried “to set me up with child porn.”

In a later segment, Pattis clarified that the reward was actually $100,000 for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the culprit.

Monday's filing also says that Jones threatened Chris Mattei, one of the lawyers working with Sandy Hook families, during an Infowars segment where Jones pounded on a picture of Mattei and claimed the attorney tried to frame him.

“This court has an obligation to protect the attorneys, parties, and the judicial process,” the filing says.

In the statement, Pattis said that Jones didn't threaten anyone.

"To suggest otherwise is to engage in precious pleading," he said.

The families of six Sandy Hook Elementary School victims sued Jones for defamation last year over his repeated claims that the shooting — which left 20 first-graders and six adults dead — was a hoax.

    --------------------------

What do you guys think? Is it a setup to once and for all shut Alex Jones down. Or do you think that he's a pedophile who wanted to get arrested, and thus purposely embedded child pornography into the files that he turned over?

Unless it can be proven that Alex Jones was the one that downloaded that stuff .. he should be assumed to be innocent but hey - who am I to convince the clowns in our kangaroo justice system that they should have respect for the rule of law.

You can't hold anyone responsible for what they receive by e-mail unless they requested it, and there's no evidence of that. However, if he really did deny Sandy Hook happened, he should lose the case. Perhaps that will make a few other conspiracy nuts be a little more circumspect about their claims.

Maybe he's a pedo, maybe not. All I know is it makes absolutely no sense to do this pedo or not.

Leave it for a jury to figure out.

Alex Jones is a POS who has been spreading conspiracy disinformation about Sandy Hook fallaciously claiming that it was "completely fake".

Now that he is being taken to task it would not surprise me in the least if Jones set himself up in order to win sympathy by pretending to be a "victim". However that is speculation on my part and we will need to find out what the FBI investigation discovers as to the origin of it.

What makes me suspicious is how these INCOMING emails ended up in the OUTGOING emails for the Discovery requests for information. That had to have been done by someone at Inforwars unless they can PROVE that a hacker got into their system. Wouldn't that be something that the FBI would have checked out?

Then there are the THREATS that Jones allegedly made regarding one of the Sandy Hook attorneys.

Suffice to say that Jones is the one with a credibility shortcoming so anything he says is probably suspect and self serving.

Well. . . there are some pretty odd things about that day. One was the smiling and joking father of one of the victims.
No father who lost a daughter to violence acts like this. He acts like its a big joke, and it makes the whole Sandy Hook scenario suspect. It seems though that in your world even questioning why this father is laughing and joking makes you a conspiracy nut. There are other pictures too. Its almost like they want us to know they are capable of pulling this kind of 'stunt'.

In his junk mail, never opened. The FBI considers him to be the victim.

Or there is free speech. The father sued the writers of a piece that defamed him. Alex Jones was not the author.

    :roflol:

Explain how "never opened junk mail" ended up being SENT to the other lawyers?

And PROVE that the FBI "considers" Jones "to be the victim".

I wonder why would he embed CP videos in emails sent to others, pedo or not. It doesn't make sense to me.

It seems like a setup to bust him for good, getting him off the main platforms did not stop him.

Proves nothing. Everyone deals with tragedy in his own way. Barry Goldwater said the only way he could deal with tragedy was by talking about plans for car repairs he wanted to get done. I laughed at my grandfather's funeral because we cracked a joke. Not to mention that someone's emotions can be quite a rollercoaster when dealing with grief.

Guess you don't know what 3rd party review of email is, or e discovery. never mind, you just don't. Clearly. All those demands of yours, and where has it gotten you? How about you prove the FBI doesn't consider jones a victim. Start from there, advance a case. Try to build some credibility.

Oh please. A father who lost his little girl in supposedly a mass shooting caught joking and laughing right before he cries for the camera is not the same as some one cracking a joke at some old geezer's funeral. Nice try though. You can call the feds now and tell them I'm a conspiracy nut, but I'm sure I'm already on the "possible domestic terrorist" list. I refuse to meekly accept the all the bullsh*t mainstream media puts out. :disbelief:

It's obviously a set up. The elites are trying to destroy everyone who challenges or exposes them: Snowden, Assange, Jones.

I agree but really Jones is not at the same calibre as Assange or Snowden, in intelligence, guts or the most important one: truth telling.
Most of what he does is for money, not on par with the above persons.

I don't accept 90% of what the mainstream media puts out, but the idea that someone would concoct a mass shooting is stretching believability to the breaking point. What would be gained by such a thing? Who would benefit? We have plenty of real mass shootings that one more wouldn't really change anything, so why would anyone do it? It's ludicrous.

Tell me something... are the courts in on it? Because the courts are slapping publishers of this conspiracy hoax theory with substantial fines.

How about the kids? Are the kids in on it, too? How about the cemeteries? Are they in on it, too? Do they have fake gravestones for fake kids in fake graves?

I think Jones noticed his ratings were falling and decided he had to once again attract attention.

Any person who would suggest what he suggested would do ANYTHING to boost his ratings. He could easily have someone plant those materials in a way that made him look innocent. I hope the court reduces him to penury and beyond and makes it a criminal offense for him to go back on the radio.

No, definitely not like Assange, who has made it clear he screwed up our election and made an insane madman into the most powerful person who has ever lived for the lulz

And you got your psychology degree where?

    Never mind

A grieving father remembers something sweet and funny that his child did and narrates that to a colleague before collapsing again into grief

    It happens

I could not have said that better. What degenerate amoral piece of human excrement profits off of the misery of others?

And it really would not surprise me if the find a whole lot more child porn

It is a double punch plot. Jones is hoping to discredit the lawyers by making out they were bearing false witness against him. Once you work out the motive the rest is credible

Thank you for ACKNOWLEDGING that someone at Infowars had to SEND those porn emails OUT as part of the Discovery request.

That you are unable to substantiate the allegation that the FBI "considers Jones to be a victim" was made by YOUR SIDE which means that the ONUS is on YOUR SIDE to substantiate it.

That you are unable to do so only harms the credibility of YOUR SIDE.
