Well, IMO it is as you say, the notion that "he has baggage". I have yet to meet a person who does not think he is not the smartest candidate up there. When he is given an opportunity to respond to questions, he absolutely shines. When asked about Obamacare...... he said he would challenge the Obama to 7 Douglas-Lincoln debates with 2 of them strictly devoted to healthcare. LOL Newt has written books on healthcare reform. He would wipe the floor with Obama IMO.
