Revoking, without a rational justification, the national security clearance of those who have previously retired honorably is a national security issue. Trump is doing such because he wants a distraction from bad news and because he wants to punish those who criticize him and his administration. You already knew this but are unable to make such an admission because it would result in an actual criticism of Trump.

But speaking of which, do you have some more criticisms for Trump based on the fact that he retained a long time personal attorney who is now a convicted felon and hired a campaign manager who is also now a convicted felon? It seems to me the public has been quite surprised to learn there are millions of people with Top Secret security clearances who no longer are in fields that require them. Imagine the threat to National Security that represents. Worse, are emotionally charged ideologues like Brennan, who could be imagined to sell national secrets, if they furthered his cause. Unstable people make poor keepers of National secrets, so I'm not opposed to pulling those clearances, regardless of who these unstable people are biased towards.

As to Cohen, your logic and argument is so flawed and blinded by bias I don't know how to respond. Is a client responsible for the actions of the counsel they retain? Are they to know every detail of their Attorney's actions beyond those contracted for?

If the President knew Cohen was evading taxes, making false statements to financial institutions, and made unlawful corporate contributions, then the President is an idiot.
