I did not say that Brenner's freedom of speech was hurt by the loss of security clearance. You brought that up why?

The granting of or taking away of security clearances is the ultimately the responsibity of the POTUS whomis the chief executive administrator of the country and that is the power granted by the Constitution.
Under that power the POTUS needs to administer actions with fairvand equal application. POTUS Trump by denying Brenner's security reason for no cause while leaving others intact has not performed his executive duties with equal application of his powers as granted him by the Constitution.

You seem to be hung up trying to call fellow members liberals or some other BS accusation instead of debating the issues. The issue here is that Trump arbitrarily removed Brenner's security clearance for political revenge. You claim that you do not care that Trump acted out of revenge yet there are good Americans who do not want a POTUS to act out of political revenge. We have seen this movie before it is called Warergate.

Is Mudd a lefty? I do not know that much about him. Back to Laris. Paris was making an accusation that security clearances were being converted by those who hold them into money. That is not a fact that is the opinion of Paris or his handlers. Mudd reacted to that accusation. He should have done so with measure surgical strikes but he did not. Maybe Mudd took the Paris accusation personably. Now I recall that there are Trump fans who who cheer Trump on when Trump takes criticism personnaly. Then Trump calls people names and attacks their military service. Does that mean Trump is a "lefty".?

 

Except its true-many of them DO use their clearance to speak on tv, publish articles, speak at think tanks, etc.

What do you mean "use their clearance"? Do you mean that that they dilunge classified information ? As far as I know former CIA Directors and generals etc do not get classified briefings, nor do they have access to classified information. They are invited to be the experts and publish and speak at think tanks based on their history of who they are and what they did. Just having the security clearance alone would not get them invited or hired if they did not have the background and or reputation.
