Am I to believe you think it requires a situation with exactly the same circumstances as Cuomo's or all Faux on air personalities are absolved from ethical breaches? Like the ones Hannity was involved in. Sorry, you're just going to have to read through the thread.

Well that was your claim that they had done the same or worse.

I honestly do not understand why our society doesn't appreciate honesty. It seems counterintuitive to me. I mean, we all go to our battle stations and are ready to throw down the gauntlet when someone has been accused of something and denies it publicly. If true, they are wasting the court's time and putting the veracity of their accuser's into question. It's just not right.

But, here we are with Cuomo and he was specifically instructed that he could NOT engage with his brother on his show. He was absolutely wrong but he was also absolutely truthful about his wrongdoing. That *should* count for something. Our actions and our words don't match up.

He's a scumbag cereal abuser who got caught, when you can't lie anymore honesty is the only option left.

It's not as though he fessed up from some great sense of morality he sat there and denied it forever.

So do members of Faux's unpunished on air staff, which is the point I was making.

Trump is a serial abuser too, but he just keeps on lying. He could be a cereal abuser but I understand he likes hamburgers better.

Your complaints are about their views, not their behavior. Your "point" is based on mixing apples and oranges.

Hannity appearing on stage at a Trump rally is behavior, not a view. You appear to be having difficulty sticking to the facts.

Hannity is a commentator, and his activity was certainly not secret. He is free to promote any candidate he chooses. Cuomo hid his activity; that's the unethical part.

"He is free to promote any candidate he chooses." It's against Faux's policy.

“FOX News does not condone any talent participating in campaign events,” a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement. “We have an extraordinary team of journalists helming our coverage tonight and we are extremely proud of their work. This was an unfortunate distraction and has been addressed.”

It was known Cuomo was in contact with his brother since the time he told CNN of his activities.

Previously, Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s strategizing was known and he faced no repercussions from CNN, but the extent of that involvement was unknown.

At Faux, they are "extremely proud" of unethical displays which are only an "unfortunate distraction." Apparently, it was addressed by telling Sean he was a knotty boy.

Why would Hannity come to Cuomo's defense? Because Sean knows he's guilty of ethics violations which went unpunished so he is downplaying Cuomo's.

I personally don't care a bit what Hannity does publicly. I don't care for him but he has the right of free speech just like the rest of us.
Cuomo hid the extent of his assistance to his brother. He tried to deceive; Hannity did not.

So Hannity gets points for his unpunished, unethical behavior being out in the open? Whatever floats your boat.

Hannity was open and honest, and I don't see anything unethical in what he did. Cuomo was hidden and deceitful. I wouldn't have either one in my home.

CNN fires Chris Cuomo after investigation

The news network said Saturday it terminated Cuomo following an investigation conducted by a law firm that turned up “additional information.” CNN “indefinitely” suspended Cuomo earlier this week after the release of documents that showed he was more extensively involved than he had acknowledged in helping to defend his brother, then-New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo.

First it, media matters the largest pack of liars the left has ever produced. Being called a liar by mediamatters is like being called evil by the devil, or high by Cheech and Chong or a womanizer by Bill Clinton.

Looks like you are trying to highjack your own thread.

Vile Scum Chris Cuomo wanted to attack 'Fox weather b**ch' Janice Dean for criticizing his brother

This POS, and at the time, "CNN anchor Chris Cuomo and Melissa DeRosa, a top aide to former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, both worked behind the scenes to discredit Fox’s Janice Dean who lost her in-laws to COVID-19 in a New York assisted living facility".

Andrew Cuomo Killed The Elderly By The Thousands By Forcing COVID Patients Into Nursing Homes That Could Not Isolate Them From Other Uninfected Elderly. And those other elderly soon were infected and needlessly died by the thousands.

    Pure Scum.

"The plan was to paint Dean as “merely a right-wing commentator and not reliable”:"

"Chris Cuomo “was being encouraged to find information that would focus on Dean’s political leanings”

"Chris Cuomo referred to Deans as “that Fox weather b*tch”
