Quite clearly you DO love in a bubble. I am surprised you know how to post on this forum because you clearly don't know how to access information from reliable sources.

Am I getting a tongue lashing from a real expert? Actually there are scientists who hold my views.

So, first, are you a true expert? And are you a scientist?

My guess is you are not either and you are also a democrat.

You are not talking "technical" just resorting to bashing.

For a state to be a desert, we certainly are getting a lot of rain. Our reservoirs are filling and some are releasing too much water.

Tell me all about yourself since you appear to wish to degrade my level of know how.

I had to study weather to become a pilot. And you? While weather is not called climate, as Democrats love to point out, climate starts with weather. To understand climate, one must study global weather which pilots must do.

This gave me a good head start. I have also consulted with Dr. Richard Lindzen and read many of his scientific papers on climate.

So, tell us all how much of an expert you are?

Also, would you be a Democrat?

You understand every science academy on the planet disagrees with you and lindzen? The greatest scientific minds on the planet. You do know this?

that you assume I am a democrat demonstrates your most likely sources of "scientific"knowledge are political, and reinforces that you DO live in a bubble. In many parts of the world climate change is not a left/right issue.

Well, I sort of figured you would dodge the issue by focusing on politics.

CO2 levels Oh My - But they were five times higher in the Jurassic!
The "race" of shell fish were not wiped out by an acidifying ocean
and I cannot breed Oysters On The No Shell.

Problem: Danger Will Robinson & AboveAlpha, Danger!
Do We Know A trapped air bubble in an ice core is representative of gas concentrations "then"?
I mean atmosphere is a mixture of various gases of various molecular weights and polarity characteristics.
Ice is made of polar molecules.
Could atmospheric hydrogen, or helium diffuse easier through the ice over eons?
Maybe if we had some atmosphere bubbles trapped in another source, such as amber
that could "agree" that Ice is an indiscriminate jailer of atmosphere gases regardless of size or polarity!

more CO2 in the air cools the earth not warms it up...the sun's rays are blocked and the heat escapes to space...just like the clouds do and fog does...and fossil fuels like gas burning cars put out CO not CO2...a big difference between the twp gases...and for the person talking about folsom lake releasing water now is fine..during the dry years we had the level was was kept down by holding the ater back in the upper reservoirs in El Doarado county so work could be finshed on the new flood gates...all summer long these upper reservoirs were at near full capacity..how do I know this?..i live here..by the upper reservoirs..

So, the world warmed up a whopping .0075 degrees per year, for a grand , gigantic total of .75 degrees, and that has you flipping out? Regardless of that particularly insignificant rise, the question is not what the deniers would say to it, but what should people the world over do about it, and how do you actually, ACTUALLY get them to go along with the plan. What is your viable plan that will fix this? Or, did you post this only so that you and others could simply sneer in your self superiority at all those dumbass, conservative cavemen? I think the latter, but for the sake of argument, What EXACTLY should be done to fix/minimize the impact of fossil fuels?

California has been a desert a lot longer than you have been alive to "See California turning into a desert". Do you even know where Californias water comes from? Here's a hint, it ain't California. Guess what, we're also seeing the Gobi, the Kalahari, and the Sahara turning into deserts. Run for your lives, AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Sneering, self righteous Democrat is what I think you mean.

have you ever been to california..i don't think so...northern calif is not a desert..we have some the the most beautiful lakes in this country..and the water we use comes from california and no where else...and the deepest fresh lake in calif is 1860 feet deep...

California water comes to us from the sky.

We have vast aquifers that Democrats want you to know are being depleted. They never tell you if they are very low, low or pretty high. They don't have a clue is why. But we are supposed to be alarmed.

We have runoff when it rains or snows. Snow in the upper elevations stays for a long time. Producing a steady stream of water to our reservoirs.

Indeed, a sneering, self righteous democrat tried to lecture me.

Well, we who live her made the state green. But take away our reserviours and improvements and the central valley down to Mexico becomes desert.

But man fixed the water problem.

We do have a lot of wonderful lakes.

Lake Tahoe really does not supply much water to CA though the Truckee River does get into
    Reno.

Since nobody is stopping the migrants, we need more water resources, such as desalination plants and more reservoirs.

She needs to solve her problem leaving out fossil fuels.

Maybe as the expert, she can explain how to capture and store carbon dioxide and force both China and India to do their best to knock it down.

California has a long history of droughts, nothing new. There are vast areas of CA that would be just like desert without the water that comes from far Northern CA.

I am happy the upper reservoirs were at good levels all this time. We probably will get a lot more rain the way they are dumping water out of Folsom lake. This of course is making the people along the lower American River pretty upset.

The Warm-Mongers sell the snake-oil of 'alternative' fuels that don't really exist. In the meantime, they are going to make sure we don't have the fossil fuels that our infrastructure currently relies on. They are living in their own little Utopia and drinking Unicorn milk.

CA needs more reservoirs and the central valley canal needs to be repaired, it is leaking water. Not to mention the significant evaporation it experiences.

I worked at one time on foundations of freeway bridges and tall buildings. Some bridges were by that canal. I have never been really informed on the Delta Mendota Canal leaking. It is so huge that a lot of water evaporates.

I did work on the plant that pumps water into the Canal from the Delta water. The one the people fretted over the smelt over. When I worked there, the plant was not then built and we were doing work for the state I believe.
