Usually I wish people wouldn't talk so fast these days, but in that video, first the man introducing her takes really long pauses between phrases, bad enough, then she speaks so slowly that I felt like dozing off during the long pauses between individual words. People don't automatically become saints when they die. Cokie was a typical left wing media liar and spinner of facts on a professional level and on that level I won't miss her a bit. On a human level it's sad when a life ends. We all want it to go on as long as possible and my heartfelt sympathies to those family and friends that grieve her passing are genuine.
She was to ABC and NPR what Hannity is to FOX. An opinion journalist not a true journalist but really those are an endangered species and looking back through history I wonder if they ever actually existed or if all journalism has always been opinion oriented and true unbiased journalism is a figment of our imaginations and nothing more than wishful thinking. Clear back when Washington was president papers were divided among federalist and democratic Republicans and Washington faced daily attacks in the press that make attacks against Trump today look like child's play.
