    Your immune system can't prevent all viruses 100% all the time. Especially as you get older and have ailing health issues. Why the F do you think why vaccines were created? Just for fun?

    I read today that Powell also had cancer. Powell fits the profile of the people Cuomo and others would have confined to nursing homes.

    It was Powell's speech at the UN that convinced me the Iraq was the right thing to do. But to his dying he regretted being used by Bush and I regret the US started an unnecessary that led to the creation of ISIS which further complicated the ME. An honest man who was sacrificed by evil men. RIP General Powell, I'm sure you are forgiven.

    People can only pretend to not get that getting some kind of medication has an adverse effect on something else.
    Most pills come with an entire list of things than could happen to you when swallowing.
    If one of them things is, lowering your immune system... there you go.

    Was never not going to happen.... vaccinated people die of what they are vaccinated against every day....

    As long as it's fewer than unvaccinated, I'm still fully onboard with having taken the T**** inspired vaccine......

    Well, hell, the guy was 84 years old -- BUT -- the thing that seizes my attention is that Powell supposedly died because of complications attributable to the COVID virus (or one of its variations?). And remember, the man was FULLY VACCINATED!

    Now -- here's a guy who, despite his age, was surely getting the very best medical attention in the world, from the best doctors, with the best medicines, etc., etc. So, what the hell actually went on here...?

    Which 'brand' of vaccination(s) did Powell receive? Had he had a "booster", and if so, what was the 'brand' of the "booster"? What other contributing factors were there, if any? LOTS of questions arise here that indirectly affect all of us.... Maybe @CenterField may know something about some of this because he is usually a very dependable source of information about anything involving the COVID vaccinations!

    It seems you have not read the thread.
    - He was vaccinated
    - He had cancer and was receiving cancer treatment, which weakens the immune system
    - He was 84
    - He got Covid
    - No booster

    Well he was actually devoted first and foremost to finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Unfortunately he was as successful in finding WMDs in Iraq as OJ was in finding his wife's killer. Ah but he did find some success in death, he demonstrated that younger fit men like Joe Rogan who use Ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies have a MUCH MUCH MUCH higher chance of surviving Covid than an ancient warmonger who is fully vaccinated. Lesson learned Colin and thank you for doing something beneficial for the country. RIP.

    Powell had multiple myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells that suppresses the body's immune response, as well as Parkinson's, Peggy Cifrino, Powell's longtime chief of staff, confirmed to CNN. Even if fully vaccinated against Covid-19, those who are immunocompromised are at greater risk from the virus.

    "We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, grandfather and a great American," the family said.

    And not likely a perfectly fit and well 84 year old, either. There's a certain point in failing health, where nothing will save you. He'd evidently reached that point.

    There are plenty of fully vaccinated people 80+ who are not even experiencing moderate symptoms when they become infected - much less severe illness.
