A few years back I worked security for a well attended event, while I was assigned to a Deputy, I was in plain clothes with no visible ID, at a pre-event briefing we where rounded up off to the side away from the public, it was explained to us by Lieutenant that not everyone at the even was there to have fun and worse someone might use the event to carry out a mass shooting. We where advised that he understood many of us where armed and carrying concealed, and his order to us was "if you see someone getting ready to or already shooting, shoot them and shoot to kill, we will handle the paperwork later."
Is there any evidence, absolutely any evidence whatsoever, that would conclusively prove individuals with documented mental illnesses, or who are so-called "thugs" are actually going about legally acquiring concealed carry permits? Or are said individuals simply carrying illegally acquired firearms that they cannot possess, in an illegal manner?

I seriously killed a wild hog at 80 ft with my .44 revolver. Lots of folks hunt with handguns. A brief google will yield tons of results. If anyone REALLY was interested in "founder's intent" handguns could well be otside of 2nd amendment coverage arguably. ^ How so?

Bull, single shot flintlock pistols were very common at the time. Even repeating arms were, look up the Puckle gun and the big bore, semi auto, air gun of Lewis and Clarke. Maybe do some basic research, before posting from ignorance?
