No, they throw them out because their idiot parents have been stuffing them with fat, sugar and salt and that's all they know. Most wouldn't even recognise a carrot.

 

When I was in school there were like two or three fat kids. They were an oddity. Now I drive past the high school and half of the kids are fat. It is disgusting. Thank you corn subsidized farmers for the high fructose fatties we have wandering around.

 

the kids don't exercise.

They are playing video games instead of kickball etc.

This nonsensical position that schools must be forced to collude with the toxic combination of stupid parents and the fast-food industry in the name of "freedom of choice" is one reason many parents today will outlive their kids.

Then you (*)(*)(*)(*)ing live with it! That is what freedom is about. There are going to be all sorts of negative consequences to freedom in the modern day, many many times when we want to say "Let's just get rid of it and fix the problem." but that is not how a free society works.

A free society means free to (*)(*)(*)(*) up your life and if it burdens society to (*)(*)(*)(*) bad, society has to live with the consequences.

It is just like the Gun Control debate, yes there are serious social consquences for America at large with our culture of gun ownership that would probably go away if we could just get rid of them, but that isn't freedom.

Freedom means negative consequences sometimes. Freedom often means a bit of anarchy and discord and inefficient and corrupt Government sometimes or inequality, but that is a price I am willing to pay to stay free!

If America has to look like a 3rd world country, or become like Somalia in order to remain free then so be it!

My individual freedom is more important than your desire to live in a regimented, rationed, efficient and advanced society!

 

Enjoy watching your kids get fat and sick.

You obviously have no concept of freedom. Freedom sometimes means accepting negative social consequences. Freedom will sometimes require us to accept letting people die in the street. Freedom will sometimes require us to just deal with bad (*)(*)(*)(*) happening regardless of how we personally feel about it.

The alternative is a strictly regimented, rationed, and decidedly unfree world.

 

Stories like this are a nice preview into what happens if we ever get Government HC.

Once everyone else is sharing the bill, there will be multitudes of things we cannot do any longer...simply wont be cost effective to enjoy life and it's choices anymore.

 

Freedom to be stupid? Sometimes people need to be shown a mirror, and to defend stupidity in the name of 'freedom' (whatever that even means), is absurd.
And no, the alternative is not what you're suggesting. There's this thing called 'education'. You may have heard of it.

 

We have Reagan to thank for that, as with so many other of today's problems.
When he gave away the country to the rich with his massive tax cuts, he had to pretend to try to balance the budget, so he decided that ketchup could be called a vegetable on school lunches to save a few bucks.

Good point. We need to end the ability of these stupid protestors to continue their foolish protests. We need to stop these stupid welfare cases who get pregnant without being married, who drop out of high school or just don't get a job. We need to stop people from getting stupid degrees that either don't lead to a job or lead to saturated fields.

 

This is about free-stuff. Liberals need to start having to pay for the free-stuff their fellow liberals eat. Then pizza would be OK.

Her institutionalized brain is so muddled by the "moral superiority" of her authority within the state, she...in 13 words...insultingly tells every parent in her district....in the nation....that they're incompetent.

Unfortunately, such mentality is rampant within the "statist community" .....

and even more unfortunate.... there are people in this nation....particularly, those on the left....who would willingly relinquish not only more of their liberties, but everyone's, liberties to such.
