You confusion comes from your, likely willful, failure to recognize the straw men put forth by the Twitter user.

 

I have no real desire to tackle each of the subjects. Kaepernick has every right to protest. However, he makes much more than I am, maybe fifty times as much or however much it is, and he has complaints about the US??

As far as I am concerned, he can protest all he wants. But, do it on his own time. I watched football for entertainment. I really don't want what he is peddling while I am trying to enjoy myself.

When some group is protesting I can choose to protest or watch or not watch. That is not the case when it is thrust into a football game I want to watch.

But ultimately comes down to his right to protest. But I have the right not to watch. I have only wanted to watch one football game since then and that was when KC was in the superbowl. As it turned out, Dish network was in negotiations with Fox and it was not broadcast on DIsh TV.

I know a virus can spread further than 6 feet. That's how I know keeping at least a 6 foot distance from others in pointless.

Yes, masks will not guarantee your safety. Think about how many people subconsciously mess with their masks. You touch a infected surface, come in contact with your nose, and the virus is in your body. How is not being physically ill meaningless? Constriction of the lungs is what I mean by physically ill. If your chills are bad enough that you're shaking as if you're having a convulsion, that's what I mean by physically ill. But a slight fever, treated with Tylenol, when taken early enough with plenty of liquids and Vitamin C, could break the fever to a point that you could pass the temperature screening. As long as its under 99 degrees, you will be fine. I have a thermometer just to monitor my body temperature. I'm not stupid, It's like you can hold off a dry cough with cough suppressants. I've battled the flu s good amount of times in my life. And this virus is a cousin of the flu. We dwell on the deaths and cases, how about the number of people who have actually recovered?

You and I know these governors will keep this lockdown going as long as they can before it becomes obvious what their intentions are. Governor Chub Chub from Illinois just tried to do that, and the courts blocked him. These people forget that we have inalienable rights that cannot be infringed upon, regardless of how many die. Freedom of religion, the right to assemble, wannabe dictators don't recognize these facts. They're not saving lives, they are stalling lives.

 

Curious how the blue states with the largest budget deficits are the ones trying to keep as much of their state closed as long as possible.

Only American conservatives. And this is probably the main reason why we have the most people infected.... And I suspect that, when we're all counted, we'll also have the count of the most people dead from it.

 

But most likely liberals are infected at a higher percent than conservatives since the hot spots are in blue areas.

But, where am I wrong? If you look at deaths per one hundred thousand, you will notice that the states at the top of the list are blue states.

If you look at the list of deaths by country, the US is at the top of the list. You might also notice that the rest of the countries near the top of the list are much smaller countries such as Italy, France and GB. The deaths per 100,000 is lower in the US.

 

I think blue states are showing more infection because they are states that actually have people unlike red states that have mountains and blue skies, but not very many people.

 

But, if you look at the statistics, the blue states have more deaths per 100,000 population. It is not even close. And we have blue skies and mountains and that is why we like it.

Some interesting statistics. The death rate per 100,000 population in New York is 137. The death rate per 100,000 population in Kansas is 6.

The death rate in Italy per 100,000 is 50.6. The death rate in the US per 100,000 is 24.3.

Those numbers are fairly typical of red states and other countries.

Think about that a while. The death rate in a typical red state is less than one twentieth what it is in New York. The death rate in the US is less than half what it is in other civilized countries.

Not only are conservatives doing a better job than liberals, Trump is doing better than other leaders.
