    Easy.

    Good government means accessible healthcare.

I am glad you get it for free, let's just hope you live long enough to get into the hospital.

You have more patience than I do. As soon as I see a question mark with no attempt at explaining the rationale for the question, I just say I don't play the stupid question game. I do believe there might be a level of smug assurance that they are correct, but the socratic method requires actual logic once the question has been answered.

Your answer of "of course not" does throw them for a loop, I grant you that. However, the typical NPC rebuttal is "you say that, but I don't believe you". If you answer "yes, I will" then the response is"then you're a hypocrite".

There's no getting out of that particular closed loop because no matter which way you answer, you've walked into the "trap".

    Greedy or desperate?

It has been my life experience that the “greedy” are those you would not expect, Wall Street brokers etc. capitalists. I have known people who are very well off taking advantage of charities whilst the poor take only what they need so that others can have thier fair share too

Except when they devolve to "I don't believe you" or "you are a hypocrite" it means they have no further argument so it's an automatic win.

They the post a funny meme or animated gif and walk away.

My personal favorite is "already answered."

THAT applies everywhere because there is a “golden hour” post trauma

If I had a heart attack tomorrow I would get a free ambulance to hospital, I would be seen straight away as a “cat one” given lysis within minutes of arrival prepped for medical evacuation to a larger centre (I am rural and remote - as in 700 k to the nearest large hospital) driven free by ambulance to the nearest airport, airlifted to the nearest tertiary facility treated there for free whilst a family memeber is given free flights and subsidised accomodation to stay with me until I can return.

Got anything like that for your remote areas?

Except in this social experiment that is not what happened.

The poor actually moved into the restaurant and harassed diners who were ultimately the one's subsidizing their free meals.

Either way it failed. It was a microcosmic look at socialistic policies in general and how they ultimately do not work under most conditions.

For instance, it did absolutely nothing to change their condition, it only allowed them to continue it.

    To me that is wrong.

Without forward progress there is no point to any charitable system.

And what if you sprain your knee?

Not life threatening but the longer you wait the worse it gets?

You know, what most medical issues are about.

And yes, America does have medical airlift capability.

And when there were epidemics, like polio, people helped each other or the government declared a national disaster, just as they do with floods. Depending on the government has allowed us to forget just how kind people can be with each other.

And there are other social experiments that would tur; ou5 differently. But now I have more information I can guess exactly what happened. A very large percentage of the homeless have psychiatric problems and little insight into behaviour

Now WTF has this to do with health care ?

    Sprained knee

Free flight to tertiary hospital see the specialist

If it is only a mild sprain might see the GP. Seen in ED referral to physio for free and Outpatients appointment with Orthopod free

So some people should be masters and others slaves? That's your solution?

Glad you have it so easy, most under your programs, from their writings, do not however.

Always nice to be an exception though.

And that would happen. However the guy who could afford it paid a little more. The doctor worked it out.

I think that the main thing Trump and his administration should stress here is that it will be great and that the Mexicans will pay for it. Also, I believe there should be a provision that will “Lock up” anyone who opposes it. This will fire up his base.

I'm waiting for the obligatory: "There is no such thing as a free market." Wait for it....

This way, many lazy poor people or people who have become poor because of health reasons would die off and save the rest of us some money......Hmmmmm....I like it Spooky.

In the beginning but soon people would learn that they better take care of themselves or look what will happen.

    It's called tough love.
